And this is why Mr. Obama talked about "bitter little people" who fixate on small issues rather than the larger ones. As you well know, NO President has had ANY impact on the birth rate for any group of Americans. So to say that Mr. Obama is the wrong person for the job is not just idiotic - it is short-sighted. Those babies are still going to be born until and unless the country starts to take a fresh look at race, the economy, and where this country is going. Mr. McCain cannot find his literal hindquarters with both hands, and Hillary Clinton simply is another double-speak, pandering politician who only cares about getting power, rather than wielding it in a socially conscious way. I'll tell you what Star - instead of trying to force someone to your will, as these anti-abortions types are, why don't you try supporting a system where the young and economically disadvantaged have more CHOICES with their lives. Only then will YOU ever make a difference.

Abortion, Gay rights are issues that divide us, issues that really mean nothing to most of us in our daily lives. Issues that don't address anything that matters, like torture, wars of choice, spiriling deficits, food shortages, gas prices, Medicaid, education, NAFTA, etc etc. Abortion and these other issues are Rovian politics of divsion and the sooner we reject this continued assault on our collective intelligence, the better off we are. The media is a JOKE, it a a corporate owned and controlled mouthpiece to shape opinion, not report on news. IF the media did it's job, this administration would be on trial in Nuremburg today for crimes against humanity. The S&E regularly publishes canned editorials for pretty much anything that isn't directly local. The national and bigger-issue ones usually seem to come from Scripps Howard. Maybe not all of them, but certainly the majority.

And I say "lying" in the plural form of the word. Remember, this is the same Sen. Obama whose campaign denied it ever had any meeting of any kind with Canadian officials, and certainly not to discuss NAFTA. When they were caught lying, Sen. Obama admitted a meeting, but denied they discussed NAFTA. When the memo of the meeting came out ("We discussed NAFTA"), the campaign simply stopped answering questions.
This is the same Sen. Barrack Hussein Obama who denied an inappropriate fiscal relationship with Tony Rezco, only to later admit that the notorious and allegedly criminal Chicago hack had directly intervened to help Sen. Obama buy a multi-million house.
Oh, and then there's this:
The campaign had initially claimed Rezko-connected contributions were no more than $60,000, an amount the campaign donated to charity. Then the figure grew to around $86,000, and there were additional revelations that put the amount at about $150,000.
