I am a former Assistant Public Defender and Drug Court Attorney for Santa Fe and Rio Arriba County. I applied for a Magistrate Judge position in Santa Fe and I was interviewed by Bill Richardson. Despite having a law degreee and experience as an attorney Richardson appointed Sandy Miera, an uneducated Hispanic woman without a college degree. Sandy Miera is the daughter of Mimi Gallegos former head of Santa Fe Democratic Party. Perhaps, the grand jury should investigate how much money Sandy Miera or her mother paid Richardson in bribes

You're beginning to sound like the "Voter's Friend", Eric Scott, who always pointed out how he had supposedly been wronged by certain politicians, etc., and thought that by posting his woes on these boards, someone who actually gave a flying fluck would read it and do something about it. You've posted the same post over and over in the last couple of days. Someone provided a link in one of the other threads, to an article in a Denver newspaper about you that to say the least, was very revealing. Stop crying here. Go straight to the source. Nobody here is going to do anything about it and we're really sick of hearing about it. My hope is that the U.S. Attorney will read it and bring my concerns before the grand jury.:) Plus, I'm owed compensation.

Go whine to someone else. If you haven't figured it out by now, no one here either believes you, or cares about your personal problems in any case. SHUT UP. Go find a street corner you can place a soapbox on. You appear to be a mentally unstable person, and whatever his other faults may be, Richardson was most assuredly correct in not giving you a job with any more responsibility than chamnging toilet paper rolls in the mens' room. Please - JUST GO AWAY!!

The U.S. Attorney does not read Topix links from the SFNM and then take certain posts to a grand jury. As educated and qualified as you say you are, you should know that! I wish that you would stop because you are raising my opinion of Governor Richardson with every inane posting...

Oh, I'm sure your "compensantion", that you're "owed", is on it's way! If you really thought the US Atty. would do anything about it, you'd go straight to them. Why in the hell would the US Atty. read this? You've got a problem. Get help.

to the best job, acting as his own attorney, suing folks, winning sometimes, getting his judgment sometimes, beating up on Hispanics, all the time. He's right on topic.

If you're going to post a link why not be courteous enought to offer a sample of what we're going to find?
Ex-lawyer's job past shady Fired in Santa Fe By Christopher N. Osher The Denver Post
A law clerk who has been handling media requests for a family suing Denver police for allegedly brutalizing a 16-year-old was fired from the Santa Fe public defender's office, according to news reports.
In January, the Albuquerque Journal reported that Florida's high court had found that Andrew O'Connor "knowingly" misled the New Mexico Supreme Court about the status of his Florida law license while trying to obtain credentials to practice in New Mexico in 2003.
The article stated he was fired after working six months in 2003 as a public defender in Santa Fe after it was discovered he did not have a valid license to practice law.
An official in the the Santa Fe public defender's office on Friday confirmed that it was familiar with O'Connor but declined to give specifics.
O'Connor confirmed Friday that he is the man identified in the newspaper article but said it contained inaccuracies......
