It never ceases to amaze me how stupid some people are on these boards. They live their lives to stomp on other peoples feelings because there are no consequences. If you can't spell or use a shift key, you shouldn't tell people that thier diplomas are worthless. Zoe can use a shift key, punctuation, hell she even used besmirching in a sentence correctly! To the yaggoff who questions the staff at CSF's loyalty - My father has taught CSF for 40 years, and is loyal to enriching the lives of young people so that they can make a positive contribution to society. Much more so than trolling around on the SFNM website talking smack all day. He has been witness to all of the mistakes that the administration has made, but continued to be dedicated to educating people. Knucklehead indeed. Any of you CSF'ers that took any kind of English related course from a very tall, very grey man with a very silly sense of humor, he's going to miss you all very much... Zoe, Congrats on your degree! You've spent enough time in Santa Fe to know that not everyone here is so stupid and hateful as some of the people on these boards.

Zoe, from your comments, I can tell that you too are one of those amazing people! I support you, all of the students at CSF, and the staff. It is the administration and board that ruined a great college. I also graduated from the College of Santa Fe. In those days we joked that we had graduated from the Harvard of the West. lol During my stay at CSF, I received an EXCELLENT education. The brothers and professors were knowledgeable and dedicated. All of the students got the education they wanted. Excellent if thats what they worked for. Mediocre if thats what they wanted. I can see that you worked for, and got, an excellent education. CSF is your first step in going out into the world to be a success. I know that you will. I am retired now and was successful because of CSF. I only wish that I was in Santa Fe so that I could attend the last CSF graduation. However, I will be leaving to Maui for two weeks on the 14th. Since I retired, I don't spend as much time in Santa Fe as I would like because of travelling and other responsibilities. I guess I didn't do too badly--for having graduated from the College of Santa Fe. I am sure that you too will be successful in your life. Congratulations on a job well done, Zoe. I am as proud of you a the rest of the Class of 2009 as I was of the friends I graduated with 40 years ago! Contact the New Mexican for my email. I would like to keep in touch with you and other graduates of the class of 2009! Con Amistad! Pablo Orlando Baca CSF Class of '69

You tell them, Pablo!! Lots of ignorant people on this thread. They probably don't even know the meaning of a college education.

Idea: In the summer season use this site as a combination resort and film making complex-think tank in league with a major motion picture studio or studios--Spielberg? Many colleges rent out their unused summer spaces to tourists. The location is excellent--the potential is great.

Congrats Zoe! My son's a Sophomore so he'll probably be going elsewhere. You're right, no one can diminish your accomplishment. All the best to you. Thanks for sticking up for the school.

Ouch, that's gotta hurt with recent RIF notice. Your dad would have been way better off @ public university, like NMHU or SFCC. Now he joins the long line of unemployed in Santa Fe, behind Thornburg Mortgage employees. Or just start collecting Social Security benefits.

Don't you worry Socorro, Dad's retirement wasn't held by CSF. You should really worry about your unnatural fascination with public institutions (that and the fact that your life consists of flaming people on these boards). Thanks for assuming he would be destitute though. I'll bet you're not near as brave when you aren't in front of a computer screen...

There is no traditional pension @ CSF, knucklehead. I still say, dad better off at SFCC. Man am I smart!!!

Yeah, keep trying to convince yourself that you're smart cuz no one is going to do it for you.
