hey teach, it's thesis
scary indeed!
why don't you explain what these endorsements mean.
Ah! A teachable moment. The plural of thesis is theses. One student does a thesis; a group of students do theses.

As for the endorsements, to me, they mean that these individuals who have spent their professional lives in the economic and monetary fields, think that Obama is the best candidate to get us out of the mess we are in. You have been ranting that Obama is a socialist...I doubt these successful Wall Street types would back a socialist.

I'm hoping he implodes like Dean did. Oh, how I'd giggle with delight at the sight of that pantywaist's demise.
He won't implode, he will do what most of the national Dems do, SHOOT THEMSELVES IN THE FOOT and make a fool of their own supporters

No, I have been paying attention SWEETNESS. You should look at Osama's history. He supported a Gas tax holiday as Illinois Senator, and it actually worked. Yes, you are right, that means he has flip flopped.
As a teacher, you should know that research is critical. Don't vote for what/ who you don't know.

Apparently there is disagreement on whether or not it worked. The comments I read following your article suggested the people from Illinois emphatically disagreed with the author that they benefited. In other words, they say that they tried it and they will not fall for that gimmick again. You call it flip-flopping, I call it learning from experience.

A letter signed by 100 economists says in part "...research shows that waiving the gas tax would generate major profits for oil companies rather than significantly lowering prices for consumers."

Reaper, admit it. You are just like OBAMA. You refuse to answer questions, instead you hide behind all the whinning and name calling. Just admit you have no clue what the guy has done, or how he plans to do anything.

<quoted text> Who are 'you guys'? And stop trying to be clever - you know perfectly well that the policies of, and the Presidency of G.W. Bush are very much relevant to this Presidential campaign.
But as you so aptly put it, he is not running for president. The policies of presidents have long lasting, sometimes generational effects. For instance, I firmly believe the first paver on the road to 911 was the reaction by President Reagan to the Beruit bombing, even though the end was not reached until 18 years later.
There are two reasons I look back on previous presidents, one is to give context to my conclusions and the other is to reveal intellectual consistency or lack thereof, in people with whom I exchange ideas.
You obviously are one of "you guys" but to be more definitive, I was referring to the type of people who are so blinded by their venomous hatred of President Bush that they can see nothing else.

You got that right. I am a little giddy right now. Three major gaffes in one week. First Obama advisor steps down because he MET WITH HAMAS. Then Sweetiegate. Then Whinygate - which most people saw through.
Oh the Dems are really up in arms about Bush's treatment of their messiah.
It's scarily similar to the protests/riots when some chap in Denmark decided to make a movie about radical Islam. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fitna_ (film)
Dean Pelosibama looked utterly pathetic this week.
Oh the closed, sheltered world you must live in. It is a good thing that you are in the minority - and continue to be marginalized by your own ignorant words. By all means, stand on the side of a President who acts and speaks like a spoiled child. But don't you worry, the adults can handle things for you, child.

The only reason Edwards gave Obama his support is the fact he is looking to be VP. If obama is elected the US will be going down the river without paddles or any way to stop him from selling the US out.

Don't cast stones if you are living in a glass house.
Baby (Obama) reminds me of the character on Mike Tyson's Punch Out called "Glass Joe." He was the first character you went up against, and you could just ruthlessly pummel him every time!
Obama's constant gaffes do make for good entertainment though.
As do your incessant babblings. At least he's trying to address problems in our nation. What is your excuse? Get locked in your mom's basement again, you mouthbreathing moron?

I will not admit to what you see in the mirror - your failings, your ignorance, your lack of knowledge. If it is knowledge that you seek, why are you still here? I've already given you the answer. Can you not find even the slightest bit of self-motivation to save yourself?

I had to stop you right there. Please re-read that sentence again. Do you not see the error? Of course, Bush isn't running for President. He IS President. Which makes his administration and his policies VERY MUCH the issue. There are no gyrations of logic to explain there. It is a simple fact.

Obama is a joke. He's not going to do anything that Congress, the House & Senate authorize him to do. He will be nothing but an Uncle Tom in most peoples eyes and a joke to others if elected. Obama has no experience at running this country or even running his own household. If he's somehow elected, he will probably be impeached before his term is over with cause we already had a clown in the white house and we don't need another one! He does not respect our flag, our military, our history nor our country so my question is why is he getting all of this support? Are Americans this STUPID?

Oh, but I do add something: I continue to push you to use your brain. I continue to show you and everyone else that expressing your rampant ignorance is not something to be proud of, but something to be ashamed of. That you can expand your mind, instead of play the fool.

You may be clueless and dumbfounded now, but you'll learn... and eventually, you will actually apply yourself and try to make yourself a better person. You'll eventually pick up a book, or research a topic. You'll seek knowledge on your own, and not expect a handout. It may take time for you, but I have faith.

exactly. That is why Kennedy and all the others are lining up. They know he will be a puppet, for he knows nothing about what to do. I hopethat Louis Farakahn and Passa Wright are going to be his advisors on how to Unify the Country.
