very revealing post....most NE fans have this Stalinist attitude as it relates to their sports teams. They literally have NO LIVES outside of sports. Sport is the State is the Religion....get it???...... The only way you can even comprehend the miniscule redeeming value of this post (I know, it's EXTREMELY HARD).... Is to take away from it that Boston sports teams need to BE WATCHED CLOSELY, by several advanced national and international counter-intelligence agencies..... to make sure these scumpond suc-asses don't cheat on another team to gain an unfair advantage ever again!!!!!!!!!! |

bellicheat is a low down slime ball cheater who should be banned from the league.the very thought of stealing signs, in baseball, would make you an instant uotcast.

Seriously who cares... The story isn't the Pats cheating and questionable tactics. I also think the reason they sign vets(esp former captains) from other teams is to pump them for information.
The real story that I do care about is Goodells coverup of the whole mess and lack of suspensions. The fine and draft pick were jokes. Goodell is trying to protect his buddy Robert Kraft and the Pats. He should be removed ad commisioner for being so hard nosed to the players and passive on the management. The Pats transgressions affected a possible Billion in lost revenue for other teams and is jsut as bad as player X's Dui stop or boat incident. Get it together Goodell. |

The Patriots are a discrace to the NFL. Boston should have to give up its team, due to the fact that they are only popular when they win. Remember, they were 4th on the Boston sports scene when they sucked. Now you cant find anyone who was not a fan then. What liars. Boston is the filtiest city in america, with huge populations of people moving away

You gotta be friggin naive as heck to think EVERY team doesnt TRY to steal signals. Heck, stealin signals is as old as prostitution. High school teams do it...in EVERY sport. Its no big deal. And its up to the teams to PROTECT their signals and change them up so opponents cant benefit from stealin signs. Bellicheck deserves praise for getting an edge where others couldnt. Its a competive world and you have to either get an advantage or flounder like the Fish...1-15...yes
|
|
Let me get this straight....The Miami Dolphins STOLE the Patriots PLAYBOOK before a game a couple of years back. The Dolphins players brag about it in the press after the game and today nobody talks about that anymore...end of story....On the other hand the Patriots filmed signals seen by the whole country in 81 just like everybody else and they are the bad guys.
What I am missing here. Stealing a playbook is OK but filming signals is a crime ? It is amazing how expensive the price of success can be....even more ...it is pathetic to see how hipocrisy can be such a common disease in Miami.... |

Sounds to me like it is NEW ENGKAND fans being the hypocrytes! So you say the dolphins stole 1 playbook once? But its okay that the Patriots stole signs on Both ides of the ball, multiple times! And in Playoff games. And with Goodell destroying the 1st round of tapes that were evidence of multiple rules violations. So are you to say PATRIOTS FANS think MULTIPLE offences arent any worse than just 1? And 1 that has NO EVIDENCE to back it up, no less? Talk about HYPOCRACY! |
I'm waiting for just ONE Patriots fan to express even the slightest anger at THEIR OWN ORGANIZATION for bringing this all upon themselves. The Jets, Dolphins, Bills, Steelers,****, and Chargers doidn't cause all of this. It's the Patriots, specifically Bill Belichick who caused all this and Pats fans are pissed at Dolphins fans? Look in the mirror Pats fan and ask yourself whether it's worth arguing on behalf of this guy. He's disgraced your team, tarnished his and every player on those great teams legacies, and made it so YOU cannot enjoy what should have been a glorious string of success. If you have any respect for yourself and your team, you should be demanding his immediate resignation. |

The fins never stole a patriot playbook, and no players bragged about such an event. NFL FAN is the 99% of trash on these boards I referred too. The event he probably incorrectly remembers is when the fins garnered network video to prepare for the patriots. Public network broadcasts. It was unorthodox, but the commissioner at that time ruled the dolphins did not break any rules. |
