Dell customer service is horrible.
I can relate to their frustration. Never get to speak with the same tech that "helped" you in the first place. Can't understand them most of the time. They read some script which is supposed to fix your problem. It rarelt does. Dell is pathetic. Period. |

Well, I don't work for them, but my Dell is the best thing I ever bought. Then again, I upgraded from a Gateway. It's not usually the computer, it's the USER that's the problem...I've never had to call tech support...AOL, that's another story but since they have changed, I haven't had to call them (knock on wood) for about a year.

I've also never had a problem anytime I've dealt with Dell. Sometimes it's a pain in the a** to get parts but once I got a hold of someone they handled everything perfectly.
I have bought 3 Dells and never had any major problems with the computers themselves. The 1st one I bought about 6 years ago I gave it to my mother and it's still humming along nicely. A little slow but it's perfect for my mother. |

in the early days Dell's tech help was the absolute best. but then outsourcing......had to leave them because I could not communicate with the indian tech reps - could not follow the accent. what a shame to lose your good reputation which is the main reason I bought a Dell. Nice computer but God help you with ANY company if you need tech support today, EXCEPT cablevision, the best.

Personally, I hated the Dell I had a few years ago....tech support was no help.
And people have been unhappy with outsourcing since they started it. Enough already, preserve the jobs over here, I don't care about "Bob" in India. |

Wow, it should seriously be illegal in some way to have the right to sue for such outrageous amounts unfit for the claimed "damages". This is absurd.
