Good. Maybe she'll finally take the hint, move to some remote place, get a decent education, stay 'sober', and raise her kids out of the limelight.
One can dream...

I heard it. I was expecting trash. I actually think it was well done! I sense you are only stating your opinion. The album is actually good. Have a second listen.

Obviously Britney's music isn't your cup of tea, but I think you will eat your words when this cd is released. I have not been able to stop listening to it since it was available for preview. It is a great dance cd and it is nice to hear her side of things. Give the girl a break...haters!

this obviously was a bad review. you just went straight into how bad it was. The Cd's best song was not "Heaven on Earth". There are far better songs on there than that one, especially "pieces of me", "Radar", "perfect lover", Gimme More" and a few more! you should re-think about the CD and if it goes with britney's professional image and leave her personal image out of reveiwing the CD! Thank you!

You are such an idiot. Your writing is terrible. It's pre-fabricated. It sounds like you collected all of the worst criticsms you've heard and strung them together to try to make yourself appear to be a real writer.
The album is pretty good. There are a lot of good songs on it.

this review grew increasingly tedious, by the way... its called music, its not about the tabloids or her kids, this will debut at No. 1 and have many hits because its fun as hell and catchy and infectious very modern pop...
youre gonna have egg on your face next week bro...

This writer is biased, as shown by his refrences in the article, he just doesn't like Britney. Listen to the album on leak. Don't like her at all either, but i was curious about how it would turn out. I'm shocked that it's actually really good. I might just get it. oh, and heaven on earth is the worst song on it, along with gimme more.

Although it is far from being and grammy award winning album some credit has got to be given to the album. The production alone is enough to make to album work, and that's just what the album does, it works. It is a greater achievment from the first leaks of Spears rapping on earlier tracks. And to someone comming to "Blackout" with an open mind, it does make you wanna dance a little. What we can't deny is the fact that the album will be the number album during its first week sales and that most likely will go platinum; and that is not because the world feels sorry for Spears. So get ready to see more music video's and go ahead and decide what cd you are going to keep in your car to try and hide from Britney being all over the radio because it's going to happen whether anyone likes it or not.

Britney is sad and pathetic. She never was a good artist, people only bought her cd's and went to her concerts to see her dressed like a slut and dancing like a stripper. Anyone can lip synch, the only reason she ever got signed was because she used to be attractive but she isn't any more she's high class trailor trash. Anyone could lip sync like her and dance like that its not that hard to do....SHE'S DISGUSTING and a TERRIBLE ROLE MODEL...jive needs to kick her sorry **** to the curb and find some new talent.

Are you on drugs? What CD are you listening to? BTW, REPUTABLE review sources such as Entertainment Weekly (who gave it a B+), gave the album a fair review that wasn't biased by personal Britney bashing... I give your review a D

Why not let the album speak for itself rather than try to pretend your a music expert? It seems too many people in google news are trying too hard to ensure she fails. It's not enough to wait for it to fail. They must stand on a soap box and tell everyone. Now, I wonder, what would cause a person to be so driven?
I agree with some of the comments, however you've skipped over the fact that some of the music very good. Like many albums, some tracks sound robotically processed because it's the IN thing right now. Take the SugaBabes with their #1 UK hit. Listen to their tracks and you will find a very similar slick pop formula. Take Soulja Boy's hit where the guy can't even sing at all. He basically hollers over a beat. It's also at #1 on the hot 100.
Take some of Spears previous works, the current 'Baby Boy' etc and you will find that some have more, some have less processing etc. It's really no different than many other acts out there.
What I think the problem is that it has become fashionable to bash her. Then many reviews also show the tale tale signs of judging when they get into personal details of the celbrities life. She's divorced? She's not the best mom? Well, then the album most also suck right? It seems a lot of people want to attack, just to attack. I say, let the album be what it is without any other outside influence.
It's not enought that she has personal problems, but there are people out to destroy her image with her new album as well. There are web sites that tell people not to buy her CD and so on. If there is all this happening, how can someone truly judge where her song would have charted, or how well her album would have done? My impression, is that however it turns out, I'm now going to think it would have done better had people just let the play out on the charts on it's own.

I think it's time everyone get off the bash Britney band wagon. let her regroup and start the healing process....we've all made mistakes in our life time....some more then others...but lets forgive and forget. move on...I personally like....the majority of the new album.

i disagree with this review i've heard the songs and i really believe that ewveryone involved has done a great job. this cd is ultimately better then Nicole Scherzinger's, far more interesting and fun while Nichole's cd was packed full of miss used rifs and obvious "look at me i'm a pop star wanting to be sexy." Britney Spears has done a fine job on this album as well as the producers and writers. The songs are catchy and are what makes you love her. not to mention she hasn't made a real album in three years and under a lot of pressure from the media to her fans to the haters...everyone wants something from her and whether it be good or bad. but even if the cd doesn't turn out as a hit for the decade i don't think this is the end of britney spears and her music, it may be just a step back into the music world and her next cd will be even better.
