Are you gonna try the inane argument: if you're not a cop, you have no right to judge? Tell that to a jury, genius. One mustn't be a doctor to comment on a botched surgery, or a criminal to complain about the lax penalties.(But, they'd have to be knowledgable about that particular situation.)

I second guess nobody, simply post my thoughts and opinions, you know, some of those Constitutionally protected activites . It's not that hard to figure out people who are unarmed should not be shot by the cops. One of those absolutes, you know, like how a child molester should be put to death, and police/public servants SHOULD LEAD BY EXAMPLE......how sad the injustice system forgot these simple edicts.

he refers to cops as "piglets", regardless of their record on the force. He called a murdered policewoman and mother a "piglet" when her boyfriend (another cop) killed her.

He sits in his dark room and plays out these fantasies that he matters, but in reality we all know if he jumped in front of a train his wife would get another loser to pay the rent on his crappy ghetto apartment.

What does that prove? I agree with it! Why do you think it's so? Because black neighborhoods are high crime shitholes filled with lawless individuals. Blacks are 7 times more likely to commit a violent crime, and NYC cops have been killed in the line of duty by minorites TWICE in the last 20 years (and further, I'm usre. Try raising them with morals, and pride in their apperance. I said my son WOULD get my boot up his ****. It's never happened because I raised him to reject that culture. He would never THINK of dressing like a thug. Period.

Of course I'm aware of white kids embracing the hip-hop culture. I believe they look like utter fools, but they'll grow up and get real jobs in a few years. The ghetto dregs won't and don't. And while OTHER kids might dress like that, mine don't. And not because I would "put a boot up his **** ", but because I raised them to reject the mannerisms and attitude that comes with wearing that ****. Believe it or not, there ARE some good kids (black and white) whose pants aren't around their ankles and their hats on to the side.

And kids who dress like a thug might not be one, but they ARE perceived as one, and they should take whatever **** they get because of it.

Again, MY KIDS don't dress like that, so I've never had to put my boot up their asses. Good parenting goes a long way. Maybe you should read a book or two.

I'm not disturbed by the article at all. It proves my point. If college kids can perceive blacks as more threatening based on no real world experiences, how do you think cops, who have PLENTY of experience with them, to not? Black neighborhoods are higher crime and more dangerous. I can recall THREE NYC cops shot by white perps in the last 20-25 years. AT LEAST 250 cops have been shot in that time period. In the 80's there would be 4-5 A MONTH, ALL in minority neighborhoods.

Jackson made that quote. No getting around it. Even your "leaders" don't want to be around their followers.

I highly suggest that, if you can, enroll in your town's Citizen's Police Academy. My husband and I had the opportunity to participate in a drill call "Shoot or Don't Shoot." It is an interactive program, where you are given a "gun" and there is a "crime" being projected on the screen in front of you. You portray the police officer, and your goal is to determine what level of force is required. It gives you an idea of what our law enforcement officers are faced with on a daily basis. It was incredibly eye-opening and I no longer question or criticize police officers when situations like these happen.

The bottom line is this: when a police officer gives you an order, you obey. If you CHOOSE to not obey the officer's command, you are solely responsible for whatever happens to you.

Wow interesting point, the Police are human beings, yes some of them are corrupt, but one thing about evil is that it is like a desease, how long can an human being be exposed to the ugliness of the criminal mentality before they are affected to the point that they become so guarded against everyone or totally unfeeling. I don't hear a whole lot of talk about why did this individual not obey a direct order. I got pulled over for speeding on 95 once and the poor cop looked like if I made one wrong move he would have totally freaked. Did it ever occur to anyone that it is scary out there. People who are under the influence or selling narcotics for a living are ruthless and spiritually void ..... Cops see people get killed for $5 or less all the time.

Stereotyping is a reality of life, we are human and live in a world of symbols, original languages and alphabets are just an evolution of symbols ..... what you associate yourself with is how you are perceived .... they follow the "black culture" because they think it is cool and being cool is more fun that living up to your potential and making a real effort at life. Unfortunately, the easy way out is a lie. There is no easy what out of life. How can any group of people say that someone owes them respect, comfort, opportunity when within their own community they harm each other by their own actions. I know that there are some awesome black folks out there that fight every day to save their communities. I feel so bad for them sometimes. How terrible it is to reduce the whole issue to "racism" it is not racism is a spiritual malidy that is destroying our urban areas and making them unsafe for everyone to live in.
