Fast Chat: LaKisha Jones

If you haven't heard and seen Lakisha perform live, whether at the American Idol tour, or as the Church Soloist or as Sofia in The Color Purple, you've missed out on potentially one of the great voices of our time. She is simply magnetic on stage and her voice is not just powerful. It is soulful with great resonance and beauty. She is certainly not one of those dime a dozen "shouters". She can really sing.
You'll also be surprised by how beautiful she is! I don't know what happened with "Idol", but Lakisha is going to be one of the great ones if she gets the opportunity and makes the right choices. I can't wait for her CD to come out this spring, and I'll be lined up for one of the first tickets to any show she does, even if I have to go to Vegas to hear a live performance again.
Try to catch her before she leaves NYC!!!!

WOW I cannot wait for LaKisha's R&B, soul and inspirational album....I have been waiting for it since her first ever performance on American Idol!!!! I hope she puts 'And I Am Telling You' on her album release! I will purchase many copies anyway!

Wish I had to see LaKisha on Broadway but it is closing......but on tour she blew me and everyone else in the audience away!!!
