Another reason why The Goose is a class act!! These players are supposed to be professionals. If big mouth thought he did something special by striking out a batter in a situation like that then it says nothing about the maturity of this "child"

As a Yankee fan I couldn't agree more with Gossage. That's not emotion, it's staged nonsense for the cameras. I think a veteran or 2 will take him aside and tell him to cut it out. That stuff is for a girls softball team not MLB.
I was critical of Hot Dog Reyes last year and I'm just as critical of Joba. The difference is even the vets on the Mets don't know any better. They've encouraged Reyes to just be himself which I guess includes all the girlie antics.

Chamberlain's agent could reason with his client and put a stop to this nonsense -- unless the rants are a way to make a few bucks by getting the client on posters, videos and the like. Remember that baseball is a business, and that stupidity sells. Just ask Dennis Rodman.

Ya gotta love it... a Yankee fan worried about what dance Reyes is doing in the dugout in Queens. I also wouldn't be talking about "girlie antics" after that effeminate swipe Arod took at the Red Sox along the 1st base base line a few years ago. Talk about living in glass houses.

Because he was one of the best relievers in baseball.he used to pitch 2-3 INNINGS,not 2-3 batters like today..check stats BEFORE you post!

Correct. Bob Gibson would plant a 96mph fastball right in the numbers of the next Yankee hitter, and the would be the end of it.
