The seized vehicles were taken to three privately owned locations in the towns of Islip, Brookhaven and Smithtown, according to the sheriff's department.

This is just the beginning. You will start to see a lot more seizures like this as the economy stays stagnant. Many business' use floor planning to have inventory. When times are bad, it's easier to keep all the money then send in the money due to the finance company. You can get away with it for a while, but it always catches up. Companies that use floor planning are RV's, swimming pools, spas, cars, trucks, etc.

Yep. So what's the next Industry to collapse in the USA? This is what happens when you live on Credit. If you can't afford it don't buy it. It took more than a Generation, but it has finally caught up.

Eddy's was probably a student of McNamara Buick and this story will probably disappear just like that one did. That was the single biggest billion dollar scam in US history!!! There's nothing like LI politics!

You ain't seen nothin' yet...wait till those motor fuel contracts run out and all heavy motor fuel users have to renegotiate at these new prices. All prices are about to skyrocket....hello MTA, heavy diesel fuel users.

Went by this place not too long ago and I was amazed at how many RVs this guy had on the lot. I remember thinking, who was going to buy these things? Now we know.

You're an idiot. Rv's are great especially if you have a family. We have been on many trips with ours and it sure beats staying in hotels....with all their bedbugs and stuff.
Good, so finance your house to get your RV and stay on vacation! There are over one million full timers in their RV's in croweded noisy and smokey campgrounds, go have fun!

You must have financed your house to buy an RV since you keep bringing it up. Thats your own mistake that you must still be paying for. The fact is that camping and RVing builds great family values obviously values that Eddy's owners dont have.

Who said I financed my house?? I didn't! You go stayed in those over priced hotels and sleep in those beds that millions of others have slept in. There are many beautiful and fun rv campground in this country......I'd rather sit around a campfire after a day of sightseeing, then look out a hotel window!

Happy Camper you might have took out loans for yours but I own mine out right and I bought it from Eddy's and it was a great exsperiennce and I camp all over Greenport Montauk Upstate Lido and my family loves it. So don't just assume that everyone takes loans just because you did.
