Yikes.

I didn't realize she was still alive, let alone performing.

Hope she has a speedy recovery.

With all due respect for Ms. Francis, she might want to avoid Westbury.

Although, that would explain the high BP, they probably told her what the theatre used to be called.

Wow. I guess I'm getting on in years, as I know exactly what you are referring to.
Get well, Connie. Best wishes.

Well, maybe she should stay in Garden City and perform at Jones Beach.

Hope she gets the pressure down and feels better.

I was at the theatre, her orchestra came out at 8PM,her sheet music was clearly visibile, then the orchestra walked off at about 8:15 PM.No announcement was made. The audience sat there dumbfounded until about 8:40PM when Neil Sedaka came out to perform, after his first song,Neil announced that she was taken to the hospital and could not perform. An announcement should have been made when her orchestra walked off.I love Neil Sedaka but I paid to see him and Connie so the theatre should have offered to refund at least part of the ticket cost. Also,it was uncomfortably hot in the theatre.even Neil Sedaka asked for the A/C to be turned up and it never was.All the more reason,a partial refund should have been offered. All this being said,I wish her a speedy recovery and I hope I can see her perform soon.

Sorry, but you saw extra Neil, get over yourself. You do not deserve a refund.

You were there; you stayed for the whole concert; doesn't matter what changed, you got your money's worth. Next time keep your money in your pocket, stay home and wait for the DVD to come out. Get well Connie!!

I always loved Connie, but she cancelled a performance 2 yrs. ago on Long Isand too. Saw her yars ago at Westbury after the rape and that was all she spoke about on stage. Too bad but in my opinion she should not perform on the island.

I agree you can't keep cancelling shows when people pay money to see you. She really should not be performing anymore.

Good luck Connie, and may God be with you. I am one of your many fans who remember you well and have almost all of your music. The one thing I remember most is you doing Lip Stick on Your Collar for the first time on **** Clark's American Band Stand.

I hope Connie Francis continues to make a full recovery and is back in the limelight again. She is responsible for so wonderful memories. Thanks for the memories Connie!
