Government no longer considers the laws of God to be sacred, so Adams' prediction is accurate. The only foundation of morality that governments respect any more is "might makes right". Government run by populist opinion polls IS anarchy, with tyranny not far behind.

tyranny is here now under the guise of the Patriot Act, resturcturing of voting lines, and the Supreme Court public opinion. We are going from rights of the people to what the legislators think is right for the people. We will wear the honor of America the riches 3rd world country to exist.

This letter is written by some poor soul who is deeply disorganized. I suspect that English may not be his first language or that he is not conversant with the techniques of stringing together ideas in sentences to make a point.

I think I agree with this guy but who knows for sure what the heck he is even trying to say? His historical points of reference are nonsense.

The News Times might be better off not allowing people to embarrass themselves with this kind of so-called 'letter writing'.
