Maybe you should know the city in which THIS is happening before posting your lie filled sob story. See, around here, it's our local republican party under our meglomaniac mayor who are destroying the economy. The immigrants around here actually helped to rebuild our downtown city center..in fact, almost did it singlehandedly. Before they came in, Main street was a broken down ghost town. After they moved in, with all their beautiful little shops, galleries, boutiques, restaurants, nightclubs, down town city center once again became a hub of life in this community. And it was a diverse mix that MOST people really enjoyed (at least those who were not bothered by hearing other languages, seeing other skin colors). The only turning point came in this town, when they mayor started using the immigration situation as a smoke cloud for shady business transactions, and increasing tax percentages to pay for those business deals. Then, the 'crackdown' on immigrants and the implementing of 287g led to many downtown businesses closing (racial profiling, predjudice, and feeling unwelcome made many LEGAL hispanic immigrants feel unwelcome shopping downtown, along with those undocumented), lost tax revenue, in general. So..the only one to blame here, is our Mayor, and his puppets on the common council.

Keep in mind - this is just ONE person's opinion of Main Street. Those "beautiful little shops" were NEVER welcoming to anybody that didn't speak spanish. The opening of the Danbury Fair Mall did in what was once the thriving "Main Street" we all remember, and it would have come back on it's own with or without the help of a bunch of illegals. Main Street is a dump - and since the only people who are there on a regular basis are the illegals, I think it's safe to say they are to blame. The economy is in shambles everywhere - not just Danbury - do you blame the Mayor for the rising cost of gasoline, food prices & home heating oil too?

No I haven't ever driven after drinking even one drink, don't drive and talk on c-phone, not afterseat belts were put in vehicles,run a red light to my knowlege, littering I can't answer because I don't remember everything I did when I was little but don't remembering doing it anytime in the recent history, and CERTAINLY not fudged on my taxes. After all whose money you would be presently using to fund your illegal ativities if I had. I did get a speeding ticket once because I was "desperate" to get to the hospital to see my new born grandson. Does that answer you question?
