Free Vacation? Spotting, Avoiding Travel Fraud - Travel Getaway...

I feel cheated. Tim Monroe signed mine and he's offering 4 tickets for thier screw up. Guess I'll forward those aol/microsoft e-mails so I'll have some spending money. Otherwise, I'll hire the attorney that send the e-mail to my friends, friends, brothers, sister-in-laws lovers.

Yep, got one too!.. I never signed up for any Disney tickets and it's pretty easy to get an address...just put the name in Google. Whatever you do DON'T open the links. More scam/phishing and there is so much of that out there. Stay aware!

Just got another one today - ignorned all the previous ones, but this time they have my full name and address that i moved from 5 years ago on it...really creepy!

i got the same email from tim monroe, travel getaways inc. I googled him and found that he was arrested for drugs and firearms. thank god I didn't reply.

Just received this one today. FUNNY, my wife is a school teacher for volusia county school district.. Stopped this one quick after wife searched and never found a teacher by this name..Called Disney as well, corporate and emailed copy to executives attention. Oh wait did I forget to tell you my wifes grandfather was one of the original artists, hand picked by WALT himself. That is why we get to stay at Cinderella castle 2 times a year no charge.....THanks Woodrow (RIP)

stop moaning yaw'll and be pro active, this week I will be scamming them, I got all the dates and times for all the seminars this week, and since ya have to show up 15 mins early i will be waiting for all the new victim attendees with my luvverly SCAM BEWARE TRAVEL GETAWAYS/ SIGN..SO ALL potential victimS have a choice to not attend the seminar...which means MINUS BIIIIG BUUUUCKS to travel getaways, alias hemisphere travels,alia celelbrity productions and all the other bogus names they use...YEP i AM already loving it, as my main mission is to stop all trade and they will have to cancel 12 seminars and they won't get a DIME. hahahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA with great glee HAHAHAHAHAHA

I got the same email from Travel Getaway. I never signed up for anything either and I was also dismayed that they had my address. This tells me that someone employed by one of the legitimate places I signed up at is selling this information. Completely illegal. I hope they get caught and thrown in jail.

I received an email this morning from a Tim at Travel Getaways...asking for my home address, phone numbers and d.O.B. I was skeptical and goggled it and found all of these comments. I was to leary and I followed my gut.
