Free Vacation? Spotting, Avoiding Travel Fraud - Travel Getaway...

I received the same e-mail. I dont remember signing up for a Disney giveaway. I presume this to be a scam to get your information.

Well I have some of these travel offers but I have to get some money over to a lawyer in Nigeria so that he can process and forward what is a huge amount of money. Well I have two million coming from my late Uncle Jim and even after the 199 grand I sent the lawyer for his fee and to pay off certain officials to free up my money I will still be well ahead. Then when I get the money, I will look into these travel offers.

I recieved the same email. I don't recal signing up for any free trip. They want my full name and date of Birth. NOT A CHANCE......

It's all spam mail to me and spam in my email just gets deleted. I don't waste my time with that crap.

I just received the same one today. It is also signed Sue Madden and Travel Gateways. What really bothered me is my name and address were listed in the email, yet I have not registered for anything.

I just got the same email a few minutes ago. I googled it and just as I thought - it's identity theft scam!

I just got this email also - it was sent to my work email but makes reference to my home address - troubling how this would happen

I also received the exact same email as Sharon from Sue Madden, Travel Gateways, Inc. It didn't look like a scam to me because she had my correct information. I have tried numerous times to email this Sue Madden to find out how they were going to mail the travel package to me and she has not answered any of them. That's when i decided to check her out. I have not given my bank account, credit cards or anything to her. And, I am on the do not call registry. And my checking account is always in the red. I don't understand what she would gain from this except to break a little 4 yr old girl's heart! So...I am booking a trip i cannot afford to Disney to not disappoint my baby.

I would love to get my hands around Sue Madden's neck just for one minute!

I received the same email scam from Sue Madden and boy would I love to get my hands around his or her's neck! Now my 4 yr old is broken hearted and I have to plan a trip to Disney.

I received the above email from Travel Getaways today,and yep, Sue Maddens name was on it....and I replied to the email that no updated information is needed, to send the tickets to my address, with a viable phone number and location, or I will report them as a scam, which I believe it is.

I have received this same e-mail from "Sue Madden" It has my entire name listed on it but the mailing address is an appartment that I haven't lived at in 5 years. I feel this is a scam or a phishing routine but I have been unalbe to confirm my suspicions and I'm not responding to the e-mail unless I enter false info. Maybe that will get me off their list.

i SENT THE eMAIL TO dISNEY. THEY USED MICKEYMOUSE38 A DISNEY NAME / TRADEMARK . i PLAN TO SEND A COPY TO MR PEPPER THE CEO OF DISNEY..

Topix wouldn't allow the telephone number or the email address of the owner of the Disney Scam Site to be posted. But if any of you wish to have it...just in case.... you can find it by going to www.whois.com and typing in the website www.mouseticketz8.com .
