Annandale High School music teacher Kregg Stovner was charged with taking indecent liberties with a child, he allegedly touched a 16-year-old girl inappropriately on two occasions at the high school.

Police were notified of the allegation Tuesday and Stovner was arrested at his Fairfax home.

Stovner has taught at several Fairfax County schools since 1988. Besides serving as the orchestra director at Annandale, he also has been teaching at Ravensworth Elementary School in Springfield.

He is still teaching to this day...

Let him someone abuse my kid there will be no need for a judge I will be the jury judge and punisher!!!! They need to fix this quickly what are we paying taxes for. I can not understand how this happens but if it is the case the teacher but hope he does touch my child or he will need to be looking over his shoulder. It is the only thing that I would act in a violent way is protecting my children's innocent's.

this is a total NONstory. where was channel 4 when mr. brazey was ajudicated over this? he was able to cut a deal. he plead guilty, served 2 months in the county jail, then was sent to his home country, never to return. how come we never saw this on the news? where were the investigative reporters then?

This is highly disturbing, because I used to live in Fairfax, and Mr. Stovner was my Orchestra teacher at Daniels Run Elementary School, when I was in 5th Grade. He had some bad temper issues, and was really rude to the class. It's hard to believe that Mr. Stovner is in jail right now.

I really liked Daniels Run, though, and Fairfax is still the greatest city in the world!

I lived in the apartment complex, Fairfax Square. I love it!

Mr. Stovner deffinately was not an illegal and most of the registered sex offenders in the area are WHITE AMERICAN MALES. Most illegals are hard working people that have left their country due to hardship and came to America for a better life, same reason why your ancestors probably came to America (that is unless you are Native American). It is the few illegals that commit crimes that make all of them look bad. America is a nation built by immigrants and people like YOU make us Americans look ignorant and brash to the rest of the world. Next time think before you say or type anything.
