Well Tom that is a treatment option, and probably a lot of parents exercise that. I did see where the one guy who killed the hikers in Appalachia years ago was found dead in his jail cell. He got out and shot two more people goes to show that the death penalty is a deterrant it just has to be exercised.

Well then, it was still your grandad's fault. People with parkinsons should not be driving anymore than drunks should. This was no "accident" as you call it. This was deliberate recklessness on the geezer's part and he should have been convicted of manslaughter and died in prison. We need to stop coddling these highway killers.

May you never have an illness that puts you in the position where the man was. The accident that involved the cop's stepson was in Charlotte County I believe. People do get killed in accidents in which the driver is drunk. There is a big difference but then again some people have no understanding of disease. Parkinsons has nothing to do with drunk driving. You are evading the issue of sex offendors, and for what, if you wish to do a separate thing on drunk driving put it into a topic. I have no arguement with those that want laws enforced on them, but do not expect that much unless one of the officials gets killed.
However I will Crystal ask Billy Abel the chief in the town of Burkeville about it. No matter that accident involving his step son was a tragedy. Billy has more compassion for the sick than what the poster has. Whether you like him or not, there is a big difference here.

Well ok. Hospitals and treatments are fine. Gee, if a guy gets locked up and is treated for five years, then he usually gets out and the next time he is more careful not to get caught. If someone molested anyone I knew, I hope I would not be a sorry butt whimp like Ron Goldman's dad and just go around complaining and filing law suits. Goldman should have long ago taken OJ out as I hope any of us would do if confronted personally by a molester. One thing for sure, even though I am not avocating anyone break the stupid butt law, the molester would have an end to his career and be at peace with himself and the world.

I agree that people with disabilities that can impair ones driving should not be behind the wheel of a vehicle. BUT if you are not aware that you have something, that is a different story. You did not have to be so cruel about your statement and disrespectul as in calling names. Surely you wouldn't like it if someone was calling your parents or grandparents "geezers".

There are treatments for Parkinson's as well as other diseases but the cure for ignorance will probably take some time. Child molestor's have a high rate of re-entering the system. There really is not an effective cure so what do you do with them? You put them where they can be seen but know if they leave the place they are open game. Myself I like the idea of the bear outside the prison with a solid sheer wall, rather make it a Grizzly with an bad attitude.
