MY mother -- is a naturalized citizen.
She gave up her country and took this one as her home. She doesnt have the full priveleges that we who are born here do, but that is fine with her. She is more American than most people I know, and this illegal alien crap is insulting to her. She did not sneak across a border to get here, or have anchor babies. She never was on welfare or took advantage of the system. |

Now maybe someone else can get a job--legally!!

In response to Anon, The Bush administration, Congress, and ICE immigration reform are working systematically and rapidly in deploying its full throttle, in the wake of too much leniency in the past. Thus, first comes the migrant workers, that will place company's on notice, then those who continue to disregard the laws will face severe punishment and be made an example. The swift company is one example of a large raid. Hang on and be patient cause as the Japanese have once said that they awoke the beast, here too illegals have now awaken the beast again. |

GOOD JOB!
Innocent! They're criminal inhabitants. The very nature of them being in the US illegaly makes them criminals. |

Good ol' Bush...Srew em send their asses out to see on a raft than shoot the damn thing...maybe the economy would be better if they paid taxes, did not live 10 to a 2br house,or bought things here instead of sending their money to brother pablo so her can jump the fence & do the same damn thing......

In response to Carrie, I take it that your mother is from a Hispanic descent. Which is the second largest population in America and the fastest growing. That is why people are taking notice. Just as Martin Luther King Jr. and African Americans/Black Americans took notice during American history. Yes, indeed we live in a vicious society and a cruel world. My parents were naturalized and so I am not going to insult you nor anyone else, and say that people have to deal with it. Unfortunately, being from another culture, and even younger American girls walking by and making racial remarks is nothing new. In one aspect we have to deal with it. Secondly, I don't condone illegal immigration, all because I was a victim of a Hispanic girlfriend who used it to try to gain a domestic waiver. Unfortunately, her steam and her husbands is running out. Yes, so its insulting all around, its disgusting that people use immigration in all direction, for, against, or through you, me, and the next person to get what they want. Whether its to deport people, or to remain here one way or another. I have to be partial due to my civil service. However, if you heard the old saying, if you can't do the time, don't do the time. My ex, stole and used someone's identity for jobs, credit cards, new cars, and the list goes on and on. She got arrested and the feds even came after me, grilled me for hours and used me against her, which ultimately turned ugly, and she felt I betrayed her. Sad thing is, she has been doing this for years, even before I met or knew about her. It just caught up to her years later, we just got caught up in a federal sting. Needless to say folks I got arrested, innocent as I was and unsuspecting. |

Times were MUCH different, it was not persecution them ! So if you father (for example) said my name is "this or that" it doesn't matter because you will immediately get adjust of status (U.S PAPERS) "green card" Any idea how HARD is to get U.S papers nowadays? obviously No ! People have to survive and I'm sure you will do the same if it was your situation,... how easy is to judge people.
Hollywood is full of them. It's not just low wage but baseball, construction, acting, etc. Even the Brits are taking our jobs. They seem to hate us. We all have rich uncles to support us don't you know. |
Well...I think this comment says it all... I'm sorry you are illegal yourself, soon you'll be picked up for whatever... Boy, I sure am glad I told the INS my Canadian wife's name was Ms. Whitey. That sure made the green card process so much easier for us. We didn't have to travel for interviews on 2 weeks notice. We didn't have to pay hundreds of dollars in filing fees. We didn't have to stand in long lines and be talked down to by the crabby INS workers, thinking that we were scamming the system too. Oh no!, Ms. Whitey and myself (Mr.****) just waltzed in, on a red carpet, snapped our fingers and poof: GREEN CARD! You stupid ignorant self-centered POS! You think that because your skin is brown, you get treated poorly? No! You get treated poorly because so many hispanics hate America. I saw a 5 year old hispanic girl get slapped by her mom in a CVS when she spoke english. Her mom said in spanish, "You will never use that language again. Spanish only!" Hispanics take advantage of what America offers. Hispanics trash our way of life and expect us to relinquish our values for theirs. You know why Hispanics litter? Because in El Salvador, the government picks up trash, there are no trash cans there. They pay people to pick up all the trash out of the streets. Guess what? YOU HAVEN'T LEARNED THERE AREN'T PEOPLE PICKING UP AFTER YOU. THERE ARE TRASH CANS HERE. YOU HAVEN'T LEARNED BECAUSE YOU DON'T CARE TO LEARN. GET OUT OF HERE! GO HOME! WE DON'T WANT YOU HERE! |
I feel similar. My grandparents came here legally and gained citizenship. My grandfather was a police officer in the U.S. and my family acclimated to the American way of life really well. They speak English well. I'm really proud of them and I can't stand that people are trying to lessen what they did the legal way by coming here illegally. Illegals give them a bad name. If my family had to go through the process to come here legally, they should too. Things just aren't the same as when they were when everyone was an immigrant. I don't think that can be used as a comparison really. |

I totally agree that ICE needs to be involved. Yes, many of our great grandparents and relatives came here from other countries, but did so the legal way. I have a number of friends, including my daughter's fiance who came here legally, and waited their turn...didn't steal someone's identity... didn't take advantage of our taxpaying citizens and the system to stay in the U.S.! We are tired of: trashy suburbs, guys whistling while we take a casual walk around our neighborhood, paying for those unpaid hospital bills, daycare, food stamps, and for piling too many people into one household...breaking zoning laws, bringing gang violence into our neighborhoods/schools....the list could go on! Thanks to all those in ICE, working on behalf of the law-abiding, tax paying, legal citizens and for doing the RIGHT thing! GO ICE!

In response to JPJr, what do you mean people have to survive? I have to survive too, I don't go and think about making more money illegally. I don't think of using your identity to get a job, I don't go and see who I can try to entice, marry, and if that fails use the domestic violence act against them to "survive" and get legal status the illegal way by filing false criminal charges against someone, so that I can stay in the country, get a waiver, and get a work permit. Oh, wait, sorry its not signed into law yet, its called the U visa and already more than the 10,000 women limit are abusing it. Obviously you will have to prove beyond doubt that you were actually abused and assaulted, otherwise you have just gotten yourself deported. Red flagged if you don't meet the demands of the visa. Yep, and even the VAWA act for married persons is also over abused and so too, there are many women being deported because they thought they could use this tool to survive, or the other word is commit fraud to remain in the country illegally, by illegal means. Look, there are people out there who have waited, been patient, got a sponsor employer, and waited, and waited, and finally got their LPR status. It took a long time, I mean like 14 years. But they worked hard, they got the ITIN, and they didn't do anything illegal, didn't steal someone's ID, open cards, buy new cars, they genuinely worked hard using their own means and their own identity. They didn't even overstay their visa either, 14-20 years ago. Yes, indeed you say its hard to survive. Yes, it is, but not so much so that you are willing to take the risk to be deported faster than being allowed to stay here and survive, doing it the right and legal way. You can wait out by the 7-11 on a cold morning hoping and praying for a job, and working. That is surviving. Using someone's id to work at the US Marine Corps base in Quantico as a illegal, is abusing the system. Expect that you will be thrown out faster than if you got caught working at McDonalds using a fake id. Then again McDonalds won't take that risk, they have too much to lose, or much to gain. They will hire a 14 year old than hire an illegal. Look, the bottom line is our fore fathers all took risks coming to Ellis Island, do you know where that is? Yes, and they all survived. Some got sent back, deported in the early 1900's. So, deportation is nothing new. Crime is nothing new. People then and people now all have to survive, the difference is are you willing to be patient and do things right, or are you going to risk all and expect sympathy later for violating criminal laws? Please don't ask for sympathy when you violate criminal laws, I pick up criminals all day long and I have sympathy for them, I treat them fairly and I am partial. But what's done is done, do the crime you do the time. Yes, and I wasn't always a law enforcer. I left legal practice to chase criminals. It wasn't easy paying my own way through law school. Yes, I had to survive. So, if I had to put food on my plate I would have to survive, even if that meant driving a truck instead of practicing law. It doesn't mean I will steal, lie, or cheat to get ahead. That's the big difference here. |

I am so glad to read about these illegal aliens getting picked up. I wish ICE would come to Ward 4 D.C. and pick up many of these illegal Salvadorans and other Central Americans. I live in El Salvador daily in my northwest Washington, D.C. neighborhood. It's like living in "hell" around these Central Americans.

I AMAN THAT!! The law of 1986, calls for a find for each illegal, that was working. |
Idiots like you should not be allowed to post. Just wait a few more months. You will not be able to buy groceries, In case you haven't noticed food prices are already going up. |
We should learn from the Arizona example. When you have strict penalties for employers, illegals can't get work and self deport. There is no reason for employers not to use e-verify and the law forcing them to do so should not have been put on hold.

The second largest population has nothing to do with the reason folks have taken notice. The 2006 march is the reason citizens have taken notice. Marching around with signs that say "this land belongs to Mexico","gringos go back to europe",hearing hispanics yell racial slurs to whites, blacks and calling thier own people coconuts has alot to do with the attention the illegal invaders have been getting. these sites are the worst I've seen. www.mexica-movement.org Aztlan: youtube has great info there also youtube: reconquista. Try to remember the hispanics you are referring to never take responsiblity for thier actions. |
