I agree that my comment was inappropriate. However, the issue at hand is not that someone died yesterday albeit a tragedy our concern should not be on what has happened instead our focus should lie on what is being done to ensure justice and prevent future tragedies. I apologize for my previous comments. They were written out of anger because of the increasing crime rate in Hayward.

Hayward use to be a bit of a peaceful place about 5 years ago....what the f*ck happend now, seriously.
By the way it was a black on black crime don't confuse yourself by throwing a latino in it.

I was there yesterday and the suspects were both black and latino. No, one of them is not mocha! He's Latin.

My buddy was an investigator there and they both were black no latinos were involved!

The problem has nothing to do with race. It's a problem of priorities. When you have a population of people that put more importance on the rims on their car, or how much they can pimp out their honda civic, than they do on providing for their family or getting educated, it should be no surprise that the lines between right and wrong get blurred. And it's worse when any little pansy **** punk can pick up a gun and think their tough. So sad.

This ia awful my prayers goes out to the family and friends of the slain victim. Whom every did this should get life in jail without parole.

OK so the guy tried to steal some jewlery if thats even the truth I mean can you belive a murderer? its still no reason to kill someone! what ever happend to the days of a real fight? you know were one uses the fist's? only a coward carries a gun cops are exempt as they need them but as for the general public only cowards carry guns they carry them because there affraid of getting there butt kicked! well now the kid who pulled the trigger his life is over now too! he cant ever take back what he did and by the savage nature of what he did it would seem to me that he wouldnt want to take it back! We dont need people like this walking around or streets the world is already to un-safe someone like this needs a needle put in there arm I hope he thinks real hard about it when they strap him to the table! now on the other hand if this guy had tried to steal something and he had beat the crap outa him than this would be a whole nother story as a fist fight no one dies but the point is well made! YA this guy needs the needle in the arm that's forsure it may take 10 years to get it but that gives this punk plenty of time to think about whats comming! I would be surprised if they dont give this guy capital punishment given the savage nature of the offense.
My heart goes out to the families on both sides as both have sufferd a loss one who's life has been taken and another who's life is about to be taken.

I am related to one of the accused and I really do feel bad for both of the boys. However, my heart is really hurting for the parents (& family) of Deandre. My family knows what it is like to lose a son by the hands of another and the situation that causes the taking of your childs life doesn't make it any less painful.
Yes, jewerly was taken by Deandre but the punishment for that should not have been death.I hope the two accused are strong enough to endure what ever is next for them. But I PRAY that Deandre's Mom/Dad will be strong enough for what they are going through right now.

I am relateded to one of the accussed and I really feel bad for the boys.This is truely a bad situation all the way around. However, my heart is really hurting for the parents (& family) of Deandre. My family knows first hand what it is like to have a son killed by the hands of another. Yes, jewelry was taken from one of the accused but the punishment for that is not death. The situation surrounding the taking of someones childs life does not minimize the grief, hurt and pain that comes with that. I hope that the two accused are strong enough to endure what ever comes next for them. But I PRAY that Deandre's MOTHER, father & family are strong enough to deal with what they are going through RIGHT NOW!!
