this is not any new news anybody in the cheer world knew he was
a pedifile and the owner of Showtyme all stars where he coached
and tumbled couldn't possibly have been that stipid after all of the bad things she was told about him. I fell awful for the kids and parents who trusted her and him

This is not new. Don't have men coaching female teens. some guys just can't control themselves and gravatate to those type of jobs. and parents if your daughter is being coached by a male you better keep a watchful eye on the both of them.

First off you can not blame the owner or the other staff members of Showtyme. They believed in him just like she believes in all of her staff. Second if you seen how many of the girls miss and love him you would never think any of this is true. He was a good coach. I am one of the mothers who is there with my daughter at all the time I do not drop and run like most parents do. So if this was going on then where were the parents. The gym has too many people in it from the time it opens it doors until the time it closes, so I don't understand how they can say this happened on the company grounds. So in short never ever leave you children unattended and don't be a parent that drops and runs and use coaches, teachers, other parents, etc. to be your baby sitters....

My neice goes to the gym twice a week and all of and when I say all I mean Chris included are wonderful coaches and great people that dedicate all of their time to coaching kids to become the best that they can be...My neice loves going to Showtyme and always has a great time and a smile on her face...Those girls arent made to do anything that they dont want too and their is always at lease double supervision so i dont know how this can be true...There would be no chance of this ever happening if you didnt have parents that drop their kids off and dont stay with them....There is even a room where the parents can gather and do what they want there or they have the opportunity to watch their child practice.

It is true because check his history he has had problems everywhere he coached. he was caught giving alcohol to minors just last year and
two years ago at the 1st all star program he was with , those owners tried to warn the new owner and were called "slanderous". If you dont know it all maybe you shouldn't be defending him.

this is the last time i am going to touch on this subject nobody said he wasnt a good coach or a nice person however, your owner was warned and some of your parents were quite aware of his previos behaviors and being fired from other all star progams but for whatever reason it was ignored now your orginization has a big problem and the truth will all come out as soon as the court date comes.

In a way it is the parents faults. You should never and I mean never just drop your child off and leave them anywhere. Even if you are paying a fee for them to be in a gym or any other sport. If you child gets hurt or if you see things that might not be what they seem at least you are there to put a stop to it and bring it to the attention of the right people. I have been to ever practice and compitition my daughter has been in and I would never leave her in someone elses care. She is my daughter and my resposibility.

yea that may be a little twisted in your eyes but what about about all the great things that were said about him? So you are blaming the new owners thats not fair either. Yes, I am blaming the parents that drop and run because they are not aware of what is going on at the gym at all times because they are not there with their children.

When you are a coach or teacher, boss, ect... you can not involve yourself with people or children that you work with. He might of been a good coach but what he did was wrong. If any one is out there think how you would feel if it was your child this happened to. The owner of showtyme can not be responsible for the actions he took.

I use to cheer with Chris, he is known as "little chris" to a lot of people. He was always a touchy feely guy and you could always catch Chris flirting with the younger girls on the team. It is sad to say but is about time he got in trouble.

my point exactly the owner was aware and so were some of the other members dont you think you have a right to know your coaches past history? I do.
The gym I belong to I could leave my kids there all day and rest assure they take care of them as if they were their own NEVER anyone with a history like his would he be allowed
near the gym doors. i dont care what she may tell you I KNOW first hand that she was made aware of his past issues . what about that? these were teenagers not 7 year olds their parents shouln't have too stay at a 2 hr practice with them to protect them from a pedifile

Im not saying that it didnt happen, I just have trouble believing that it did knowing Chris the way I do, but I understand that that doesnt mean anything, but the owner of the gym is not responsible for his actions if it did happen and I dont think it is fair to blame it on her....

are you not listening? i personallly know she was made aware of all of his behaviors from other gyms he was fired from!! it is most definately her fault for continuing to allow him to coach there!she should be charged with him!one last time without a doubt she was AWARE

So you are saying it's the parents fault for dropping off their children, and not the responsibity of the owner of the gym to keep an eye on her staff. I guess he only did this to the children who got dropped off.

I did not say it only happened to the ones who were dropped off and the parents didn't stay. I said that if they did stay they would be aware that something was going on with their children. There is always more then one coach teaching these kids, there is never a time when it is only one coach in the room with the girls alone. The room where the girls practice is open to all to watch... So I can not see how this happened while the doors are open and people are watching the girls practice. My point was that if the parents were there they would of seen something going on....

I didnt say that it happened to only the childten that were just dropped off, I said that I dont see when it could of happened because the owner does check on everything and knows what is going on. I just dont think it is fair to blame it on her one bit..and its all I heard or I was told from another but nothing from someone that does know the whole truth.
