OK can anyone be any dumber. A car pulls up and offers you drugs and then you offer them a beer and go hangout at an abandoned house. This man is a GENIUS!!

They could have had my pants, and two clips of a Glock 21SF with backup Glock 27SF in the back. Never take your eye of the ball.

It does not matter what time he was out. He had a legal right to go out and was in a legal place where he had no need to retreat.

I would have offed every one of them and whistled on my way to give milk to the babies.

There is the way it oughta be, and then there is the way it is. Never forget this can happen to you so always be ready. No citizen should have to face this.

"The victim fled to the back yard"
Why would anyone run to the back yard of a place he knows nothing about (turns out it was fenced in) instead of running out into an open area where possibly he could have been seen by others. I know it was 2AM, but running to an area that is hidden just doesn't add up.

I work at a local Pier and leave each night relativley late, this kind of story scares the bejezus out of me.

I walk down said Pier with my cell open with 911 already in it and my keys through my fingers. I know that wont really help though in a situation like this guy went through.

Getting worse every day.

Give me a break----out buying milk for the kids at 2AM?? Offering 5 strangers who are admittedly drug dealing a beer??

Lets re-write this story as it REALLY happened:

A North Carolina man told Myrtle Beach police that 5 men who he had befriended in the hope of scoring drugs stole his pants and wallet early this morning......

Thats better!!!

From Myrtle Beach - Buying beer and milk in the middle of the night? No common sense! Everyone knows that criminals do their best work in the middle of the night when normal, decent, hard-working people are sleeping. Who needs beer in the middle of the night? An alcoholic, that's who. Don't believe he was going to buy milk; just a coverup for the beer. DSS should investigate his children. No responsible father does this.

I don't think drinking at an abandon house is legal. I think that would qualify as Trespassing? And it could happen to you only if you go out at 2 am to get more beer and then invite the local hoodlums to hang out and have a beer at the local abandon drug house. LOL There is way more to this story we aren't hearing.

Is it just me or does anyone else sense the ignorance from people that keep bringing up something about the bikers in a completely non-related story. Its been way overplayed at this point... actually several months ago it was.

Milk and bread? They offered drugs, he said no and then offered them beer. Sounds a little fishy to me, maybe a drug deal gone wrong, which they are all wrong from the get go. Maybe he is making it up to explain to his kids why he bought beer and drugs instead of the milk they needed. This sounds more likley to me.

The biker issue is a big deal. It is wise to point out to the anti-biker crowd that Myrtle Beach is riddled with crime year 'round, not just during the Month of May.

These reminders will stop when the anti-bikers finally get the point.

In the meantime, make sure your underwear is clean so when a non-biker in an Oldsmobile (car) steals your pants, you can make a good impression.

You don't live here so you read the newpaper and think you know what goes on here WRONG and I don't believe the point of get rid of the bikers is really for Harley week its for the second bike week that trashes our town and walk around half naked and all the men have video cameras and the girls are so happy to show all they have I saw this one girl in mesh clothing with nothing on underneath and when a black man commented on how great she looked she cussed him out so bad well don't dress that way if you don't want the attention

No one said there wasn't crime year-round...it just increases ANYTIME the tourists population increase. Which in May adds a lot of people... No not all are bad! It seems The Sun News as usually only points out the bad.

Back to the story this is about, yeah there is something missing from this story!!!
