No regard for anyone else. I watched an old man die on Thanksgiving one year, at the hands of an Armenian driver. He was driving over 65mph down Allen ave(the speed limit is 35mph on this street), and plowed right into the old guy walking. He died before the paramedics could get there. They drive like they`re in the Indy 500. I also used to work in Glendale, and its like driving in a demolition derby there. They need to learn, that the city streets are NOT the autobahn, and they need to obey the laws. A Mercedes, does not give you a pass to drive as fast, or as reckless as you want...

I grew up and work in Glendale. Recently, I moved out of Glendale and opted to a friendlier neighborhood that has a majority of latinos and asians. They are a lot friendlier and are more respectful. Glendale is going to hell quickly and the Americana is not enough to save it. BTW - how did Armenians decide to leave their country and settle in Glendale. Did they all have a town meeting first before they got on the boat? Why didn't they decide to go to Mexico instead?

always found it ironic that long before Vartan & his army of rude too much cologne wearing identity thieving mercedes stealing unibrows infested this once fine bedroom community, habitants of Glendale were known as Glendalians. Apparently these "mexicans with money" as i think of them, took it literally. I used to manage an apt. building in Glendale but got fed up dealing with the arrogant bastards. They wanted to pay rent in cash only, they can't have a paper trail because so much of their income is money laundering, credit card scamming, id thieving etc.., their sense of entitlement is unbelievable, and no ethnic gruop is shrewder at gaming the system. How does a Mercedes or BMW driver get food stamps! Butthey take pride and brag about their chicanery.

Red Light Scameras

I hope the two new red light cameras in Glendale aren't like those tricky ones whose "Don't Walk" signs stop flashing the instant the green light turns yellow. That particular light scam creates MORE accidents rather than preventing them. One never quite knows how much time before the light change. Too many drivers either slow down unnecessarily to avoid getting caught in the intersection or they speed up to make the light when they actually had more time. The rest are forced to make sudden stops to avoid a ticket and get rear ended in the process.
If the city were truly intent on saving lives and cutting down on accidents, in my opinion, the best lights are the ones where a digital timer counts down to zero. Drivers can better gauge their abilities to stop in time with that set-up.

Why should they learn english, the people at the welfare and food stamp dept are all armenians themselves and give it out like christmas presents. The business signs throughout glendale are more armenian than english and inside the establishments all are speaking the armenian language. If you're not armenian in glendale, you're an outsider and they treat you like it.
