This is nothing like what happened to Morgan Hamm. Hardy and her doctor knew the rules about clenbuterol. If this costs her a trip to Beijing, she has only herself and her doctor to blame.

Is Erik trying for the length of sentence world record? The first causes an individual do take a deep breath and hope for a period soon. The second would require at lease two deep breaths. This writing style would drive any good editor and/or teacher to drink heavily.

If you're serious about going to the Olympics, you have to approach it like you're pregnant -- no drugs, no medicine, no aspirin ... and no coffee or alcohol just to be on the safe side.

In this country, you are innocent until proven guilty. At least the country I live in. Instead of being presumptive, let the system work. Jessica is a very hard working athlete. She deserves better treatment from her fellow countrymen...and women!

Wasn't she proven guilty to having an illegal substance in her system when both her A and B samples came back positive for Clenbuterol? I'm sure she will next blame her doctor for prescribing this medication. In a event such as swimming, it's an extreme advantage to have an increased vital lung capacity which is what this medication will give.

Wonder if she had eaten contaminated pork?
See wikipedia 'Clenbuterol'.

However she got it in her system, it's in her system, and the rules say it shouldn't be.

Illegal drug use was a problem when I attended Wilson 30 years ago.

She isn't on trial, she did not commit a crime.....she failed a drug test....case closed.

Hmm, why is this news not surprising to anyone who personally knows her?

Now it's time to strip her of her League titles, too!

Too bad people can't do things without drugs, and they have to "CHEAT"..But that's our world today..No morals, what's new.She wasted her time, and what energy was really hers.No excuse, and we should catch others that use stuff to help them cheat. I'm glad my kids never went to Wilson, because that'll be a joking point for anyone attended that school..embarrassment all the way....Sad...Shame,shame,on all that cheat... And no favoritism no matter what COLOR you are...
