Commissioners drag feet on meeting Webcasts

First they refused nighttime meetings. Now they are hesitant to have their meetings streamed.

WHEN ARE YOU LEBANON MUSHROOMS GOING TO WAKE UP & VOTE OUT CARPENTER & STOHLER?????? Isn't it obvious that Mr. Free Golf and Mr. Boring want to keep you in the dark as much as is humanly possible in this day & age?

If the waking public ever saw how these meetings are conducted and witnessed the childish exchanges between them & Mrs. Litz, they'd vote these two out of office @ the first possible opportunity!

THey are an embarrassment to the Republican party as charter memebrs of the Old Boys Club!!!!

I wonder if Carpenter's idea of passing a balanced budget one week and needing to get a $5 million dollar bank loan the next week to pay the county bills has anything to do with his reluctance.

Lebanon County voters need to bring this transperency issue to a vote in 2010 election cycle and force Carpenter to accept it or leave.

Now that is the kind of solutions we need to hear "Why". What in the world does Lebanon County do that could be so monumentally important to the world that it cannot stream it's meetings?

I wonder how they would feel if a poll was conducted asking the residents, I mean voters, what they wanted done. I think that would be deserving enough for an answer.

I will let my voice be heard with my votes against Mr. Carpenter and Mr. Stohler in the next election.

Mr. Carpenter didn't drag a toe on the ground when it came to his decision to take his county raise during a full blown recession.

Believe me , I'm not sticking up for any of these commisioner's, but a couple of years ago they tried nite time meeting's and no one showed up any how.

I doesn't matter who Carpenter is blowing. People in this town would elect Satan if there was an R beside his name on the ballot. Too many straight party non thinking voters in this county to ever have anything change, and if you don't believe me about the straight ticket voting, let me remind you Tony Mutula finally got elected to city council(after numerous failed attempts) because he had an R behind his name!

I'm about sick and tired of this Carpenter guy passing bogus budgets the require $5 million dollars loans a week later to balance.

So now this guy thinks he's the one to decide if busy working taxpayers get to have more oversight of the work were paying him to do. I get the impression that Carpenter somehow thinks he's the taxpayers boss instead of vice versa.

How could Stohler or Carpenter give themselves raises during a recession or pass a so called balanced budget that only a week later needed a bank loan of $5.5 million dollars to continue to operate the county.

There's not a citizen alive they could pass a county budget that included a bank loan to makeup for lack on tax money.

Since Carpenter and Stohler want to keep their jobs they loaned money from the bank in the county taxpayers name so they didn't have to announce a huge tax increase.

Taxpayers not only will have to pay higher taxes to payoff this $5.5 million dollar loan will have to pay interest to the already rich bankers.

Again why wouldn't Carpenter and Stohler want this sort of governing to be streamed out to county taxpayers.
