These sentences imposed on people are getting ridiculous! 4 yrs for murder. But let's give 20+ to the fellow caught smoking grass while driving by a school at midnight... in the summertime.

WOW! That should be a lesson for all you other murderers out there, wait until the jury is almost seated then enter a plea. What does four years do to make this kid think he shouldn't do it again in the future?? They'll probably give him credit for time served and he'll be released by Christmas!! Sad for the victim's family to have to deal with.

Wait a minute, his mama said he didn't do it. Why's he coppin' a plea if he's innocent?
Not sure what kind of deal he cut with the DA, but 4 years is really weak. Another pantywaist judge...

There's got to be more to this. I know this young man,I know his parents, he's really not a bad kid he had a really good up bringing, but just like a majority of the young balck men out in those North Tulsa streets he got caught up with the wrong crowd. He got blessed by this verdict. I feel for the victim's family but everything happens for a reason..

Is that a typo? 4 years? If a bad guy get's
4 years for murdering an innocent person...
what would an innocent person get for murdering a
bad guy in the course of defending himself?
life in front of a firing squad no doubt!!

You have got to be kidding me, 4 years?????? Nice work Mr Judge, you are no better than the murdering fool.
I guess all the liberal idiots are pleased with this, after all everybody deserves a 2nd, 3rd, 4th chance don't they?????????? Send his **** to Texas and let them take care of him since we obviously won't do anything with the criminals here.
Violent criminals should NEVER see daylight again. One and done.

i don't understand. my nephew is serving a 40 yr sentence for selling drugs. his "victims" were willing participants. I quess if he had killed someone, he would be home with his family by now.

Maybe if a little pressure is put on our city counselors / chief of police / mayoral candidates etc..etc.... to get these judges IN LINE.....or they WILL be voted out....

How can anyone say that we are getting tough on crime when this type of poop happens?

Ridiculous! This is exactly the reason gangs will never go away! Kill someone, enter a plea, get sentenced to 4 years, serve maybe 2, out to do it all over again! Geez!
