Always have to find something to complain about...Who cares if the kids want to street race. i have been told they try and go whear it is just them, on empty NON residential street's, but the police kick them out. so they stay mobile and race around town. hey as long as you dont race down residential streets have fun! Streetracing is apart of american culture!
KOB try doing a really positive spin this time, you just scare up the old sea hags who need to complain about something..

First off, I would like to say that speeding up the footage to make it seem like the cars are "fast and furious" is kinda cheap, wouldn't you agree? Its hilarious how the media can make ANYTHING into a three ring circus. Watching your news is on the same level as reading The National Enquirer or watching a National Lampoons Movie. I have been around the evil street racing scene for most of my life. Most of the Men and Women involved are of the best character I have had the honor to come across. For the truth to be stated...
1. Races dont last longer than a few seconds, a car pulls ahead and stays...WINNER!
2. People that want to really see whose car is faster dont look for crowded streets to race on.... True or not? If you were running a foot race would you want a bunch of people just standing around on the track????
3. You know people that streetrace. We take out your garbage, we serve your food, we fix your cars, We protect you while you sleep....lol. Sorry to do the whole Fight Club thing, but I couldnt resist. Try reporting real news next time.

If only they would spend this much time and energy on the real criminals, thefts, buglarys, and murders. No wonder our legal system has fallen down the toilet. Our Police Dept. has the wrong priorities.... Nice job on speeding up the video to make it seem the like the vehicles are going faster than they actually are. Media distortion at it's finest.

Do You guys (KOB Channel 4) have anything better to do with your time? I mean honestly, what is it that is so bothersome to You about street racing here and there? Have you driven down the road and seen some of your average "Daily" drivers that don't street race, they are by far worse drivers than most street racers I have seen. You guys have to understand that the "True" street racers are very experienced and respect their cars, and know the time and place with respective honors to street race. Their is a huge difference between "Street racers" and "Ricers" these days, with the "Ricers" having no respect for person, olace or time. I just wish KOB did not inflate this story so much, the video footage is obviously speed up greatly. If you guys need something to report on, go Downtown on a weekend and watch all the people that are so drunk they can hardly walk get in their cars and drive off, this would make for a much better "Safety" issue story, as I believe that is far more dangerous than your average 30 second "Street race" all said. All-in-all seems that KOB has nothing better to report on, so they turn to whatever they can find.

Racing is only bad if you drive like a **** . You never see 9-10 sec cars killing people. It's all the slower people who can't drivin and think they're cool by racing on the street. It's the **** hondas I tell you. They are useless.

Who was the brillant person that decided "Hey why don't we speed up the video so it seems like they are going faster then what they really are?" What a lame story you guys get the big FAIL flag.

I have a question for you street racers....

A couple years ago, many of you wanted a dragstrip and everyone I and others interviewed said the following.. "We would stop racing on the street if there was a track." Well, we have one, why are you still racing on the street?

Now, as to why are they reporting on it?

Well, you guys make it seem like you have rules and safety equipment and that it is all safe and secure. You know that it isn't. You know that many of you race on major streets around people that don't know you're racing and jeopardize their safety.

Street racing is not always safe and it endangers other people, that's why they're reporting on it.

You all need to grow up.

Yeah, just noticed it was sped up in the beginning. That's really lame, KOB. I'd do a burnout in your parkinglot if I lived in NM just for that b.u.l.l. **** .

I was never interviewed. You can't base everyone's actions in an entire country to a few peoples' answers. Streetracing will never stop.

If youre going to do a story, please dont doctor the footage to sway the public. Obviously sped up footage. Ill wait to see the report before my thoughts come out.

haha.. street racers dont care about others?? bull ****.. street racers are people too.. when my kind go out on the weekends its not like we look for the busiest roads to race, my kind finds a road that has less traffic near to none.. these kids out on montgomery are not looking for the safest race.. most of them dont even care about them selves muchless some inocent by stander.. so with that said, there is more than one street race culture.. the kids out on montgomery, and the kind who you dont hear about..[these people are more in for it for the love of cars..]
