"The single greatest threat to church-state separation in America is the Religious Right."

AMERICANS UNITED per their Web Site.

I'm not condoning what this Pastor did, but this Americans United group sounds like a bunch of ZEALOTS!

Probably another special intrest group sponging off the Government Teet.

You would think some of the crap Rev. Wright (Obama's Spirtual Advisor) promoted would draw more attention...

So why are people not complaining to the IRS about the economy, etc. Who cares? If a pastor feels it is necessary to get his point across why is it so bad? It is fine for the ACLU and others to do and say whatever they want. If we as Christians feel a certain way, it is no body else's problem. We have a higher power to account to, so I as a Christian, really could care less what others feel about what our pastors say or do!

I'm a member of The Rock Christian Fellowship in Espanola, NM. At no time has our pastor
Mike Naranjo nor our church(RCF) told anyone how to vote. If you object to the images on our walls it may
because you are disturbed by the fact that the left wing is being exposed for the issues there records show where they stand. Remember, both sides of the story are depicted here, this is not a pro-republican sign as has been the allegation. It's the right of the church to discuss the issues in the election. That's exactly the position we have taken,
no more, no less. Our pastor has never taken the pulpit with a political agenda like these three non-profit many other non-profit
organizations have.

Issues, only issues have been discussed in our church. We have the right to do this! As
a member of The Rock Christian Fellowship and a registered NM democrat I refuse to support
the democrats in this race and I'm vocal about it. I don't speak for our church, I'm not a
leader in the church and I exercise my right to support whoever I feel is the most capable
candidate of giving right to every human from the womb to grave.

May God bless you,
Justice

The morals and values of Christianity do not support abortion, these radical groups know that, but they don't like being reminded of it by seeing it. There's alot of things more important than starting this battle of morality, but I guess they think Christians are the easiest target at this point. Little do they know, it's not us they'll have to explain their actions and reasoning to in the end.

God help us all. New Mexican's are so one-sided and can't think outside the box, or see the big picture. If Obama is elected, we are all screwed. If we accept his politics, our souls will be damned. Life is not about money people. I know so many who come out of church, and forget their religious beliefs until the next time they step inside a church.

St. Therese has big posters saying "vote pro life" on the back of their parish hall facing Second Street. I didn't realize the Catholic Church was the Religious Right. You learn something new every day!

Aren't churches tax exempt? If they want to play politics they should pay taxes. Can't have it both ways. "Give to God the things that are God's and to Caeser the things that are Caeser's". Jesus Christ stayed out of politics so religious leaders should follow his example.

Lets face the facts. Churches are businesses. Like all businesses they serve a public function, and have to be profitable or they don't survive. I say tax them like any other business. And, yes, they are free to say whatever they want.

Churches have a right to espouse their political leanings. Everybody has a right to do this.
It's called a "moral conscience".
I stand bwehind the NM church. I am opposed to any kind of abortion. Murder is murder. An unborn child doesn't have the luxury of a lawyer fighting for his rights.

What about malicious acts against the unborn? I don't believe the church did anything wrong... they are simply educating the public on where the candidates stand on the issue. I do not see them endorsing any candidate. In fact the sign said... "You decide."

I am getting **** sick and tired of Churches and their leaders pushing issues like abortion onto us.

Two things I strongly believe in, one it is a woman's body and her decision if pregnant what to do with the unborn.

Courts, churches and the like need to BUTT out. If they feel so strongly then lets use their money to support all those unwanted babies and stop using tax money. Also stop allowing adoptions from other countries till every single American has a home, food and clothing.

Second issue is going to be even worst if Obama wins, I strongly believe in the right to keep bear arms in my home, to defend myself and family against anyone who threatens our life or property.

Obama wants a world wide removal of all guns of all types.

He also wants the United States to sign the United Nations agreement to agree NO GUNS.

That means those that are not allowed to own them will be the only ones who do.

Want my gun, come and take it out of my cold dead hands.

And all those people of the Cloth, shut your mouth about abortion as you're not the one with the unborn inside you.

Nothing riles people up quite as much as calling abortion "killing for convenience". Darn that makes people mad, huh? Funny how that works.

The Constitution is a declaration of rights from beginning to end. About 300 rights are included. The founding fathers didn't initially create the bill of rights because any right left off the list might be presumed to be forfeited. People were afraid that the courts and people would twist the words & meanings of the Constitution, so insisted on the Bill of Rights. The Bill of rights doesn't give people rights so much as it prohibits the federal government. Which tells you a little bit about how people saw the feds at the beginning.

I agree with your argument on guns, but I don't feel abortion solves the fact that women and men need to keep their clothes on or use easily aquired birth control if they don't want to take care of their babies once conceived. Aside from the horrible decision that would have to be made in the case of rape and incest between the woman and God, It's very easy to stop an unplanned pregnancy BEFORE it begins at conception.
