The parents don't have "very poor judgement". They don't have the common sense to know any better, they just STUPID!!!!

It is disgraceful. I agree with above comment. They are "stupid"! I hope the register continues to reject such stupidity. The parents have no regard for their child nor the impact it will serve on them through life. These are not NAMES; they are SENTENCES.

The parents are utter and complete nuts. A lack of judgement yes, hopefully their parenting skills are better.

Those parents are crazy. They should have named her Kalula does the Hula from Hawaii. Everybody knows there isn't a T in the Hawaiian alphabet. Some people sure are ignorant!

Even in Japan, some parents tried to name their kid, "Akuma"( means the Devil, in Japanese), and "Nola Enu"(boonie dog).
Luckily, the names were rejected by government officials.
As you can tell, names can make/break a person.
Lucky for me, I LIVED up to my name.

So, what are the parents' names? Maybe they were given stupid names and they just decided to pass on the tradition to their child. People should have more common sense in naming their children and the impact it will have in their lives. One name I saw in the paper for a child was "Ecstacy." Poor kid.

As bad as her name was/is, it could have been a lot worse (I would list them but then I would prob be banned).

The parents want their 15 minuits of fame and they are using their child to get it. They will just rival in the spotlight everytime someone ask them, why?

Our given names are sacred. Parents who think so little of their child's "becoming" (maturing into their identity) have already broken ties with their baby when they selfishly give them unbecoming names. Shameful, irresponsible, and not loving.

In CT, one mother named her daughter "Female" (Feh-mah-lay) because she thought the hospital named the child on the birth certificate. Another named her daughter "Umbilical" after she heard the nurse use this "beautiful" term. Maybe next time she'll go with "After Birth" if it's a boy.

If you think education is expensive....

Judges have no right to interfere with parents. Most judges have the IQ of a pea.

What I find just as stupid is when parents combine their two names to name a child. Like Big Island mayoral candidate Stacy Higa. He and wife Janice have a son, Jacy. Poor boy has to live with that name. Rhyming names suck too.

The worst I heard was a family named Silva. The sons were named HiHO, Quick and Sterling.

I also heard of a Wilden Wholly

Let parents name their child as they think wise. The state has no right to interfere with families. Bush has done way too much of that.
