<quoted text>I get and keep a prayer line up and going.{from our homes, rooms, and walks, and of course church} i do so hope they all are doing well as can be exspected[minor illness], winter hurts more people than just me,I pray they are ok.If there is any thing you need ask,ok.
Every one is healthy for now, all back to school work etc. Hoping it will last. The older was always sick as a child she finally got it together and became (should I use the word) HEALTHY!! Younger one decided Mom missed the Drs so she took her place. LOL I did have a few years break between the two of not going to the Dr constantly. I am ok if we can just keep it down to one kid at a time. That 6 weeks of one then the other was a killer but we are through it. Thanks for the thought and offer Nobody and prayers are always appreciated.

<quoted text>I got to pg 14 in the thread lists, where the saga of LittleWing is [at the bottom]. found nothing on the furrs incident, which i do remember, kinda.looking at all the titles, made me truly love this thread, and then some.Reading all of the comments under Little Wing the first time was tearfull and gut wrenching at times. So glad it turned out better. Both times.
I don't remember the title to the thread eather and if you went through that many pages of threads you have far more patiance than I.

Will be seeing Dr next week, It was originally in Oct but both girls ended up sick and took all the sick time so will go next week. I am very nervous about even considering this option as I have mentioned she has had 14 surgeries in the past and I don't know if the possible results will be enough. Then again without the consult we will never know. So next week we will go.
Don't you wish there was a magical button that transfered the pain your kids were going throught to yourself? I figure the magically transfered felt physical pain, would be less then the protective emotional pain felt from watching a child hurt...
Not an aturistic wish for the a magic button, but more of a way to better deal with it...
Thanks for your comments,

I had not meant to post and run. There were several items I meant to track down information on and became sidetracked. Congratulations to all of you regular posters. You have been the stalwarts, champions of the RAK. I have saved up a couple of RAKs. Here is just one.
The young man that had the horrible bus accident in Albuquerque lived. He is a walking miracle. Few injuries to him or the folks on the bus. He is a fine man with a good heart. His friends just happen to in Albq and rallied around him until his family could get there. Rescue personnel kept coming back to see him. They kept saying they did not expect to have him be alive when they responded, it took 2 1/2 hours to extricate him. They all came to see him as the nice guy that he is. Someone that a horrible thing happened to and someone that is meant to do great things here on this earth. Hug all your friends and family today, tell them how much they mean to you. I'll add another RAK later, must not let the thread sit idle.

You all realize that in 7 posts... this will actually read 1000 post on the list. I know it shows over 1,000 posts, however it appears some had to be deleted along the way...

It will be an awesome sight to login and see RAK with over 1,000 post on the list... It means there is alot of peaceful people out there....

Blessed Morning to All...

Which reminds me.. I accidentally did a RAK at the west Walmart.. got particularly good service there the other day at the Money Center, and on my way out saw someone who looked rather official, asked if he was the manager and told him of the good service. This evening I happened to be in there and saw the same kid who had waited on me before. I asked if the boss had told him he got a compliment.. The kid grinned and said "Yea, it was the day of my evaluation" I gather it helped LOL

I'll start this, in response to a suggestion on another thread, we would like to use this thread to post Random Acts of Kindness that you have either experienced or witnessed...
Please post often and keep it high in the listing of active threads. We invite, actually we encourage everyone to post.
Random acts of kindness are seldom anything big, or generally even newsworthy. They are the little everyday things that brighten our day, a young person helping an older one load groceries into their car, the lunch tab picked up by someone who doesn't even know you, The young man who stopped to help the lady who tripped and fell on the street.
This could be fun, and once in a while, for all the serious things we talk about here, everyone needs some fun.
Let's put ya back up at the top today. I've stured the pot enough...back to the waves...have a good day Farmington (San Juan County).

Dang, I was hoping for some more stories or comments.... This is my last stop before I head out to cut some firewood. I was hoping for an excuse to postpone the chore.... lol
A bit of a RAK, some of the wood will accidently show up at some neighbours house.....
Two young newlyweds that have a wood stove. The husband is a good kid, but has never had a chance to learn the hillbilly crafts. He want's to come with me cutting next weekend. Thanks to you all, I said yes. My gut reaction was heck no, I saw it like 'helping' my girls fold clothes. Ya know, a chore that a parent can do in 10 minutes alone, but takes an hour to have the kids help. LOL
Anyhoo all, enjoy all,

SJC - History can have his joy, for he did post the OFFICIAL 1,000 post... It is only because a few had to be removed that caused it to not read 1,000 on the list.. So here's to History for helping this thread make one more step to that goal as well....

Hillbilly - Cutting wood for my family used to not only be work, learning process, but bonding time as well... It is amazing how little you really want to "kill" your younger brother after you spend all day carrying and stacking wood with them... I truly believe may of our "hillbilly" ways is what keeps our family bonded together...

Hope all have a wonderful and bright day ahead of them....

Lol... The best part of cutting firewood is the 'stone soup'... A pit dug and filled with coals of pinon heartwood or sappy cedar. Might it be a grill over the coals stacked with some random critter steaks or a plow disk filled with stuff any Dr. would not recommend to eat....
Cutting firewood is a good thing. Fun to do alone, better with your kids and also a great way to have a prodictive picnic.
enjoy,
