Those cute little dogs are carriers of the plague.

Walk a farmers field that has been invaded by them, he cannot use the field. To plant, nor can to let animals graze.

Those that want to "save" might I suggest: you go and catch all of them, bring them to YOUR home and make a nice little town for them!

Save these cute little dogs, with Obama at the helm we may all need something to eat. Prairie Dogs arn't bad I hear, they taste somewhere between a spotted owl and a squaw fish.

If you shoot one with a 22 rifle the die lie little soldiers grabbing thier chests while thier love ones grab them and pull them into the hole. 30.06 is better they just explode. But if you do it right they make a pretty good stew.

Here's a reminder for the San Juan County redneck prairie dog shooter who lack the physical dexterity to fight or carry on a relationship with women:

At least he gave him a half a reach around... Prairie dogs have earned their rightful place in our 4-Corners. They were here living in peace with the Dine' until the Biligaana came. We Dine' consider the ground to be sacred, because it is Mother Earth. So, any animal that lives within Mother Earth(Snakes, ants, worms, mice etc...) are sacred. Learn to live with these martisupials and live in peace.

If they were called prairie RATS, we wouldn't even be having this discussion. Cockroaches are animals too! Bedbugs are kinda cute too! I'm going back to watering my ragweed garden.

Question - If someone were to build something where there are prairie dogs, wouldn't they (the prairie dogs) just move on their own? I'm sure the wouldn't want to stay in a construction zone.

Just because you made that up doest mean it's sacred, Navajo's think we crawled out from under Shiprock, so not only are we soverign we are now sacred... just think of what our real ansectors in Canada are thinking. geeez. Many of the socalled Navajo traditions were stolen from the Hopi's. The Navajo's squated on thier land after the biligaana Spainards got here.

Maybe you should voice your concerns agains a greater evil. I have not heard of as many deaths due to Prairie dogs as I have of Drunk Drivers killing teenagers and family's. Domestic Violence, or Gang violence. Maybe the media does not post these statistics. My thought is get your mind on something that could make a difference to your fellow human beings. Or uthenize the humans that Have and continue to cause more human harm than i have ever heard mentioned about a Prarie Dog.

I would ask you to do the same for the Serial Killers, Rapist,Drug addicts and Drunk Drivers that kill and mame families in the Four Corners than i have ever heard of about a prarie dog. Think about what is really important to our community.
