Polls do not lie. So far, the majority of people know what the real problem in this country is.

Getting a hold on illegal immigration may not be the ONLY answer, but it is a start.

We only have Twiddle-Dee and Twiddle-Dum to choose from. Both have been and continue to pander to everyone they can because they want the votes. Promises are made to be broken though, people always forget that.

Twiddle-Dee is the worst of the two and promises change, change, change. He’s gonna change our country alright and the people are not investigating this man. If you want a socialist America, he’s the one to vote for. The worst DemocRAT we could have gotten to vote for.

Twiddle-Dum is not much better. He has a horrible track record in AZ when it comes to the illegals. The only way we may vote for him depends on who he picks as his V.P. running mate. Twiddle-Dum is a liberal RePUblican and is not strong on the issues we feel very strongly about which are the “Illegals and the Economy”.

I do not care about tabloid scandles or how they live their private life........ as long as they get this country back into shape and make us proud to be Americans.

Is the price of gas overshadowing the rest of the issues? I hope most voters don't vote just for the canidate with the best energy plan. Let's not forget the other issues.

I would be inclined to say that the price of gas is a much more far-reaching issue than "ouch it costs $50 to fill up my car." It's caused virtually every commodity to go up in price and it points more generally to things like our foreign policy and energy strategy. America's love affair with oil has been absurd for too long - we've continued to support otherwise dodgy middle-eastern leaders because of it and oil is not a renewable resource. Sooner or later the bubble is going to burst, and if we don't have a comprehensive plan to pick up the slack and start running our country (world, as well), on other energy sources we're going to be in more trouble than shelling out $50 for a tank of gas.

As for the other issues, well, "most important" is all a matter of person.

Flip-flopping on issues may not be such a bad idea. Think about it, these elected officials are supposed to represent the views of their constiuants, if the views of the voters change shouldn't the views of the elected change to reflect those views? If a couple million hunters moved into San Francisco tomorrow Nancy Pelosi would be pro gun by the time the next election rolled around. What is important is whether or not a politician continues to represent those who elected him after taking office or do they just do what they want?

Looking for a Communist Nation -- Cuba is open and is much warmer climate. Voting is a honor and privledge. I would suggest that you register and find out the facts and do your Civic duty to your country.

Who is playing dirty politics? Obahma was losing the fight on energy and drill here, drill now, pay less. So now SOMEBODY switched the issue to pro-life/pro-choice. Why does'nt niether canidate discuss anything about illegal immigration? Why should We care about Russia and Georgia? Are they switching the issues to confuse voters? And why the long wait to announce the runningmates? Are they playing it to see which VP will get them the most votes or who will be best for the job?!

Just some questions.

If any candidate has an (R) next to their name, that will be the factor convincing me to NOT vote for the treasonous bum.

I think he needs to pick his running mate well. He needs someone that is intelligent and that he lets him shine in the lime light to get his name and knowledge known.

At 72 I think running for one term is probably logical and it would not need to be announced.

As for Obama, I think he would have done better as a VP because he has no real record of change except for the one he keeps playing. What has he really done. Talk is cheap.

Illegal or Illiterate? Either way a no vote is a vote to lose our democracy and liberties.
