When are they going to subpoena Rupert Murdock to tell of his role in using FOX News for the White House's shenanigans?

When I say "They", I mean the Senate Intelligence Committee. Who could the voters hire to investigate the Bush Administration? It will be a whitewash just like the 9-11 Committe was.

They may as well investigate the entire Pentagon as well.

I'll bet Karl Rove doesn't take Congress or The House Committee seriously. He probably thinks of it as the DNC headquarters. Just another run around.

Karl Rove has plenty of time to go on Sean Hannity's show under his new title as a Fox News Contributor. I'll bet he would even appear on Oliver North's Fox Show if asked; so, why not go before Congress, out of respect for his former employers; the US Taxpayers.

House Judiciary Committee lawyers declared that the White House and Congress are at a “constitutional impasse” in a legal motion filed Thursday in federal court aimed at forcing former White House Counsel Harriet Miers and White House Chief of Staff Joshua Bolten to testify before the panel.
The Judiciary Committee issued subpoenas to Miers and Bolten for testimony and documents in its investigation into the firing of nine U.S. attorneys in 2006.
The House approved a contempt motion against Bolten and Miers after White House Counsel Fred Fielding claimed a broad executive privilege against compliance with the subpoenas.
In the filing in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the House Judiciary Committee is seeking a “partial summary judgment” against Miers and Bolten.
The lawyers compared the Bush administration's refusal to cooperate with the panel’s probe to President Nixon’s attempts to stonewall inquiries into the Watergate scandal.

WASHINGTON - A House committee subpoenaed yesterday records of the FBI's interviews with President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney during the investigation into the leak of a covert CIA officer's name.

The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform demanded the documents from Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey days before former White House press secretary Scott McClellan is expected to testify about Cheney's role in leaking CIA officer Valerie Plame's identity to the news media in 2003.

Committee Chairman Henry A. Waxman, a California Democrat, asked for the transcripts late last year and renewed his request earlier this month after the committee received an unedited transcript of grand jury testimony in which former Cheney aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby was quoted as saying it was "possible" that Cheney had told him to leak Plame's name.

The president is sick and tired of those Democrats and their pesky checks and balances and will not allow his aides to testify, as summoned, before the Senate. Bush and his legal team are relying on executive privilege—the notion that what happens in the White House stays in the White House. But Judiciary Committee Chairman Pat Leahy isn’t buying it.

It’s not entirely clear what defense Dick Cheney and his office will use to dodge the subpoenas, now that he’s opted out of the executive branch, although he could always opt back in when the time is right. But then won’t he have to fork over those secret communications? Or is it: what happens in the White House stays in the White House, if you’re actually in the White House, but if you step out on the patio and Blackberry someone, you’re in the clear?

Grow up kids, nothing is going to happen to Rove! The neo-cons own the supreme court. And that's why it's so important to get a centrist or liberal in the oval office. If McCain is elected and gets to appoint more neo-cons to the bench, the constitution won't be worth toilet paper.
