del valle vs bel air (soccer, most definitely del valle being a HUGE soccer force and bel air always being in the shadows since del valle DOES win STATE TITLES)

Socorro vs Bel-Air (soccer) because of the Delgado's brothers rivalry and because they have the best soccer in the city.......Del Valle is a 4A school and it does not compete against good teams...If any 5A team plays Del Valle it would be a massacre. And they win state titles because they play 4A teams= not competitive.

Clint vs, Fabens.......in every sport. Every sport is really competitive. We are the two small schools in the El Paso area that can bring it. We give 5A schools competition. Its always a fight and its tense when these two teams play!

The Westside Bowl is the most heated rivalry when it comes to High School. The Battle between Coronado and Franklin is always held in the Sun Bowl and it has even been aired by Fox Sports. This Forum is titled, "Name the best high school football rivalry in the Sun City." not soccer, basketball, or baseball.

I think that every sport has a different great rivalry and every school thinks that their rivalry with another school is the best. We cant change the rivalry with another team in different sports and I think you have to stick with that school throughout the year. I think Socorro and Montwood have a pretty good one because although Montwood has been winning district in football and basketball, Socorro still takes home cross country, soccer and baseball.

It used to be Bowie vs. Jeff in football. The game was always played at the Sun Bowl. Boy, how times have changed.

The biggest rivalry is between Montwood and Socorro Baseball... Socorro will beat them twice this year...
What's with the El Paso Times, the season starts Tuesday and not one word on El Paso Baseball Teams. There are some great tournaments coming up next week and not one word. |

here's the real rivalry back in the day..Ysleta- Riverside...Bel air- Eastwood Jefferson - Bowie Andress Irvin..and the big one Austin El Paso High the two oldest rivalry in history..they used to play on Thanksgiving and was even televised....
