Riverside.

They play a bunch of nobodys, which is why they always win District. It's not like the old days when they had to play Bel Air, Eastwood, Hanks, and Socorro every year. Now they play the Canutillos and San Elis.

The Burges Girls Basketball team is the most overrated. All year we had to hear their parents and girls cry about wanting to be number 1, and look they barely beat stinky riverside.
No 4a team should ever be ranked number one.

Girls teams in general are awful. I am not being an as s just stating the facts.

When compared to what? I would say our football teams play like girls when playing out of town teams, When they are playing out of town town teams their uncles and brothers who are refing the games can't cheat for them. I would say with almost every sport El Paso is pretty well represented except the cry baby football teams. I even think it was written in the book Friday Night Lights that El Paso Boys play like girls. I say they play that way because most of those boys are coached by their fathers and they were sissies when they played and now have sissys playing.

As a matter of Fact , just about every sport has had State reprensentation , every sport has gradually improved. Except one, Guess, you got it football. I think we should eliminate football from El Paso sports they are the embarrassment.

Agreed. Franklin has so much "talent" but is very complacent year after year. Chapin has "stolen" the talent from Irvin and Andress yet still has done nothing.(football wise)

How do you steal talent... if they went to Andress they would still lose, because the coaches over there dont know how to use the talent they have. As far as overated ...it seems there are some haters out there. If you want to be great you have to put the time in during the off season???

Everyone is overlooking the most obvious Del Valley, Why?? they consistantly have winning seasons, I believe it has to do with the division that they are in they are a 4A school with consistantly is one or 2 students from being a 5A school, charges are that the administration maintains the enrolement numbers low enough.

very simple they use the magnet program to get them in...and when they fail they find a way to keep them...it's been proven....Andress has a good football team but your right the coaches don't know how use the talent they have I'll agree with you on that one....Chapin also starts the season early which is violation of UIL rules and UIL is aware of this...and don't try to tell me that it's not true because I've seen them in June and July practicing and your not supposed to be practicing until August....a week before school starts..

Del Valle is in YISD and they have open enrollment which means someone from Eastwood or Bel air can go to Del Valle...it's BS about low enrollment Del Valle is extremely overcrowded so believe Admin when they tell you that have low numbers...

not low enrollment, but manipulated enrollment, as crowded as they are they never seem to go over that magic number that would put them in 5A.
