What would you like to see come to Horizon City?

Ive lived in Horizon City since there was only one school and high school students still went to Montwood or Socorro. I would love to see a restaurant in which people will be able to dine in with a wait staff. We will be getting a Pizza Hut soon, but I think we are certainly equipped for an Applebee's or Chilis or restaurant of that nature. McDonalds, Burger King, and Subway are ok, however, the money maker is in Whataburger. A Whataburger would flourish here and certainly garner the majority of fast food attention here.

I agree with the idea of a dine-in restaurant.

I would definitely enjoy the idea of a strip club in the area. Been living in the Horizon area for 17 yrs. and strongly feel a new Men's club with HOT women would be a great idea. I'm sure Mr. Castro as well as the sorrounding businessmen would certainly enjoy the idea as well.. McDonald's + Women = GOOD CHOICE > HAPPY COMMUNITY

I want to see the HCIA gone, It seems that they are just a holding company for a few rich landowners that charg the rest of us for them to do business for their clients that don't even live here anymore.

17 years you have lived in Horizon? Have you driven on Darrington going towards the colonias? There's a strip club there I don't know what is called but is by a junk yard. I have never been there but I've seen it. You should check it out!

How about a big Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Big 8 or Albertsons? With the cost of gas, we need close shopping.

Horizon city should be attracting more upscale restaurants/merchants considering the fact that the annual median household income in Horizon is $54,700 vs.$35,646 for El Paso.

Unfortunately, Horizon suffers from the same type of in-effective, short sighted city council which has plagued El Paso for many years. With the right leadership, Horizon could attract a higher caliber merchant base (think Great American rather than Chico's, a movie theater rather than a "men's club", Target rather than Walmart, etc).
