The perfect cover. When you think about it, what a better career to pick than a psychiatrist, where your most secret forms of information are unsuspectingly revealed, to a "doctor" who you trust with professional confidence, and that will "NOT" be revealed. If your intent is to infiltrate the military and reveal your findings to your Muslim boss, you have first-hand pickings to top information from your own unsuspecting patients. What a perfect cover. Makes me wonder just how much of this is going on that we are not aware of yet in other fields. And, for "What's Wrong" above comment, it is people like yourself, self-righteous and ignorant, who see everything that goes wrong as a democrat, and all that goes right as republican, that makes you no better than the sick people who do this. You think our soldiers care if the other guy next to him in battle, watching his back, is democrat or republican? You idiot!

Hasan had known, severe issues, and not only should he NOT have been scheduled for deployment, he should have been in treatment or discharged.

But instead of removing him, some colonel, backed by some general, decided to "punish" Hasan by sending him to Afghanistan.

"Punishing" a crazy person doesn't work.

Now those military officials are engaged in a cover-up (military personnel have been forbidden from talking to the FBI).

Will the circle of violence be broken? Not a chance.

In fact, the Limbaugh and Palins of this world are already giving comfort to our enemies by attacking president Obama (you know, our closet Muslim president who isn't really an American citizen that is secretly allied with bin Laden).

How long do you think it'll be before the Republicans use this tragedy to criticize Obama?

A public execution would just make a martyr out of him. You want him to be a hero to his people?

Well, I'm not a Republican but here is my "criticism" of your boy Obama - I tuned in to watch the news conference that the "Commander in Chief" held so he could give a statement on this horrific event - it took "The One" nearly 3 minutes to actually comment on the shooting and he did so only after giving his "shout-outs" to his staff for all their hard work putting on a conference for Native American issues - what a pin-head. This just shows where the Military rank in this guy's priorities.

Public execution will embarass and humiliate him, his family and those alike. I will gladly volunteer for duty. It will also send a message to those that want to emulate this S&*TBAG that we as a country will no longer allow those to terrorize our great land. American citizens have forgotten that we all have the birth appointed duty to protect this land from all terrorists, foriegn and domestic. We get so caught up on the I want to give some goddamn hadji terrorist more rights than we do our own servicemembers. This guy will be made to seem like a victim and the Army the violator. If i went to an arab country and with out mercy executed 31 people i would be considered a terrorist and dis-owned by my own country. His family is lucky that alot of servicemembers dont know where they live cause im sure they would meet the same fate that their POS brought to those at Ft. Hood.

Execution might make YOU feel better but it won't punish anyone. Public execution didn't embarass or humiliate Jesus and his family. Not that Jesus was a terrorist, but they do have a totally different culture than we do. His family wouldn't be embarassed or humiliated at all. Remember the heroes greeting that was given to the Lockerbie bomber from Libya who was released by Scotland? These guys are heroes to them, and if he's executed, they will just consider him a martyr and a rallying call. Don't give them the satisfaction.

Wow look at some of the ignorance here. From the defending of the suspects family to the idiotic public execution.
This is not the first time something of this caliber has happened by a military member who follows this faith. anyone remember the Army Sgt who threw a live grenade in a tent? That guy was a follower of the same faith. I was the arresting officer overseas on that case. As much as I thought this guy should have been hung up for public display and shot as example I dont think it would have been the best idea. Why you may ask? We basically make them to be a celebrity in their followings. Since we didnt this guy is not remembered by many and definitly doesnt have a high status in his faith. THe same should apply here. Dont execute him, lock him in a 4'x10' cell where everyone will forget him. With him all over the front pages he is geting the attention he sought after.
Now as for those of you who like to criticize his superiors for "punishing" him by sending him overseas.#1 when somenoe has a bad performance review and then they are PCS'd to another duty station...that review stays with their old unit. It doesnt follow him to his gaining unit. So for him being punished for a perormance review, doesnt mean squat and ther is no merit. He was in the Army!!! When people learn their units will be deployed they see a ton of soldiers freak out and say they cant go due to insanity or whatnot. This is so common that even if someone really is, they cant weed it out due to others abusing or trying to find a way out. Deployment was something that was accepted when he signed that contract! There is no fine print saying oh you might be deployed and have to defend your life. Thats a given! So all of you critics towards the Military, Public Displays of Execution and being just idiots with foul language do us all a favor and keep your mouths shut until you know and understand what really goes on and what is happening!

I vote this guys prviledges to use a computer should be taken away. Cant write anything worth reading at all. Everyone has family and if I did had of done what this guy did then they would be torn apart to. Whats your point? Got your butt burned because someone made a comment saying they should go after his family? Do you really think that they would to the point you have to open your mouth for a warning? Think with logic and not haste here.

What are we Klingons!!!! When do we "punish" someone's family for what they did? Is anyone related to a criminal to be held accountable for that crime now? Grow the hell up! Of course you should defend their family from those that would hurt them, they didn't do anything!

1. Try it! 2. Then don't read my post.
3. and yes, I do fear for my friends, that some coward would go after them for their little bigoted revenge. It's funny that you find my post so offensive, but the one who threatened to go after innocent people, you seem O.K. with?

I didnt threaten anyone in any way idiot. I said it was ignorance of those of you who would go after their families. I also said it was ignorance to actually think this would really happen to the point YOU have to give a verbal warning. Like I said before Read before you open your mouth.
I seem to remember saying to lock the guy in a cell where he will be forgotten....dont recall saying hey everyone lets go light his family up in a hail of gunfire. Seriously dude, put the glass pipe down!

I'm sure his extended family is all torn to pieces about their relative becoming a terrorist, but that doesn't change the fact that when an Islamic terrorist is executed he becomes a martyr to all the other Islamic terrorists. And please refrain from using derogatory comments, I'm not intimidated nor impressed.

I never said you said to punish the family, I just pointed out that you found my original post offensive, but not the one I was responding to originally that did call for the family to be attacked! So pay attention before you speak!
