Not just peroidic "control" or a peroidic "voice" once in a great while in a voting booth. they started it to be able to participate actively and create an equality for all--not rules only for those who are not in office. the rules apply to everyone-including those in office. it will be interesting to see who HRH selects for the next head of human resources--maybe this time he will make an educated decision that includes a non googled background check of someone that is not related to him or anyone else in town hall or the town attorney's office or the police department or any other department...only time will tell. same goes for the grant writer--though i hope that council is smart enough to cut the funds for that position and offer mr yetman(or anyone else in t.h.) a percent bonus for any new grants he is personally responsible for bringing in to stratford--many communitites offer that incentive and they get an extraorinary amount of grant $$ from many sources. bonus money is a great motivator. monday should bring a new chapter in the saga of the sss(sad state of stratford)

so as i keep asking what can we the people do to rectifiy this situation?????????? and i mean other than continue to genuflect until nov 2009????? the average person so far has not been able to answer that question--so oh wise one, what should we be doing???? all we can do is keep revealing the muck so people are educated about the antics the are going on...anxiously waiting for you great wisdom!!!!!! By the way why do you continue to hide behind a fictitious name..if you have such strong conviction STEP UP AND BE COUNTED! First off face reality-1-you said yourself we are stuck for duration of term.2- Again since there is no remedy, why must we continue to degrade our town, thereby depreciating the already declining values of our Stratford properties! With all the BAD press this town is getting many houses for sale... people NOW more than ever will be reluctant to consider a purchase in the ever so tumultuous town known as Stratford! Look around, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that Stratford property values are adversly affected by the turmoil of it's residents,as well as all "exposed" dirty laundry. Again we all look foolish, pay high taxes for properties that will continue to decline greater the longer this "bad press" continues. As most here stated there is Nothing we can do but wait for the next election. What purpose, in the meantime, does it serve to deter anyone from moving to "land of the lost?" Did you ever hear of the saying "turn lemons into lemonade"...seems more productive!

It's always been this way. Now its just more in the open. I agree about airing "our" dirty laundry...Marco do you honestly believe things were always this haywire? Let's face it Again hard to say what is more repulsive(in eyes of consumers/prospective buyers)- administrative activity or the turmoil & mudslinging,high taxes! Doesn't make Stratford an appealing place to consider"home" these days. Not my words-The overwhelming public opinion,that most ,once interested in Stratford, NOW-prefer to consider purchasing property in Shelton(lower taxes) or Milford-both places without current unrest...

I so many times requested him to respond...I challanged him to explain/defend his alleged actions he was being bashed for in comment sections of many of the articles &editorials I had posted here. Those requests went as usual- unanswered..I think the heartfelt requests for his help BY ME-to "DIVERT ANOTHER TRAGEDY"(with regards to traffic issues in our town resulting in recent tragedy) NOT ONE WORD FROM HIM IN RESPONSE! I am certain MJM & his people read these posts and even lurk/comment about, under false names. I am truly disappointed "that man"(he may be mayor but he is ONLY -JUST A MAN) did not have a shred of decency to respond...Never returned a blasted call since day one...Granted we realize he is busy but-Sorry but I am acquainted with some of The very most prestigious (State House of Rep,Congress,White House)in the usA political wheel,those with greater position,greater sense of responsibility! They (Rep. & Dems) have had the courtesy, the concern to respond to me/us"the constituents". Most years on Valentine’s Day, I like to dress up in a little diaper and walk around with a bow and arrow shooting at happy couples. I’ve got a tattoo of a heart. It was supposed to be a scarlet “A,” but the guy messed it up so I had him make it into a heart. It was that or a red tepee.
Love is evil spelled backwards to a dude that doesn’t know how to spell.
Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if blue was the color of love. Lots of romantic skies, I guess.
Valentine was the name of a girl I dated in the early Seventies. Everyone called her Val, but I called her Lenny. I dumped her the first week of February because I knew that one day the next week, everything was going to be about her. People should only get one day that’s “their day” and that should be their birthday.
I’d say that my perfect Valentine’s Day would be me, a special lady, a bottle of red wine, a steak dinner, two heart-shaped cupcakes, a box of high-quality prophylactics, and that special lady’s credit card so I can go buy two more bottles of wine after she falls asleep. Hope your having fun being a damn fool..not the least bit amusing or funny..keep your day job..
