The Peeler brothers conspired and committed a home invasion, assianted a witness under 18yrs of age and his mother. Yet Mr. Peeler wants reduced sentenced. The young boy was was killed in his own home will never geta chance to grow up becvause he is deceased as result or Mr. Peelers actions. Mr. Peeler should serve out the remainning sentce and it he can not handle it tough. Mr. Peeler chose his path and must live with it.

If being poor and black leads to crime, why are so many of my friends, who are black and grew up poor, doing so well in society now? Could it be because they took responsibility for their own lives, worked hard and made it?! Stop using race and economics as an excuse for crime and failure!!!

I respect your comment- I AM so sick and tired ot "the race thing" what does being black have to do with taking a life of a mother and a helpless child. no we are not here to judge but this man and his brother do not deserve the right to try and "move on etc" these men if you will, seem to be evil. please leave race out and stick to the issue of these killers took two lives.by the way I hope they rot in jail of get death by injection.

Suspected rabid animals are caught and put to death immediately and their brain is dissected to see if they have the disease..We know he is worse than a rabid animal so why should he still be alive?

Its a shame that he gets sentenced 35 year for selling crack, but only get 20 years for murder(not to mention a double murder involvening an 8 yr old child). They should reduce is crack distrubution charge and tack it onto his murder charge. This country and it laws really suck. He and his brother should rott in jail, I think the death penalty is just an easy way out. Its sad the B.J. and Karen are not able to have their DEATH reduced, they will that way until the end of time. The law in this country really sucks!!!!!!!!!!1

This just in:
(WTNH)_ Death row inmate Russell Peeler was taken to the hospital this afternoon after he was found beaten in prison, sources said.
Peeler is an inmate at Northern Correctional Institution. We're told that his injuries are "non-life threatening."
Peeler was sentenced to death in connection with the murders of Leroy "B.J." Brown Jr. and his mother, Karen Clark, on Jan. 7, 1999.
Peeler's brother Adrian is also serving time in prison for the murders.
