What a complete mess. It's to bad most of these rioters will not face any consequences. Chico State should attempt to identify it's students that participated in the riot and kick them out of school. I imangine this probably took up all the cities police resources putting lawbidding citizens lifes in danger. I hope the city will finally hire more officers and get more aggresive towards those with no respect for our community.

good lord.......and to think these morons are taking this country over and going to run it one day. If there was a way to take names, they should be expelled and sent back to mommy and daddy for retraining since they didn't raise them right the first time. What an embarrassment for the town of Chico that I live in

Only 2 arrests? Hopefully there were more and Ramsey grows a pair and prosecutes to the fullest extent. These idiots have turned Chico State into an overpriced daycare center and the city into the playground of overpriveleged punks.

That's it. It's time to close CSU Chico. No one is there to learn. They are just a bunch of idiots there to party and cause trouble.

Thank you Chico Police for getting these idiots off our streets. Can the city go after the owners of the property where the parties orginated from? Seems like that would be a good way to shut down these out of control parties.

Newsflash; Animal House was a MOVIE,not a lifestyle choice.Go back to the sh%t hole you came here from if you want to act like this. Your disrespect is going to have repurcussions in the future. The police contact methods were recently developed to stop problems before they start. They should go back to the old method ,crack skulls and arrest first, talk later in court.

Remember ,"Fat,drunk and stupid is no way to go through life"

Oh please...while I'm totally with you that it shouldn't happen and things got WAY out of control, are you really concerned that these young people are any different than past generations? The old folks in the sixties were also concerned about "these are leaders of the next generation"? I just have to laugh when we act like our parents!

Get your licks in quick; they're calling the National Guard.
Now could be your only chance to torch a Police car.
Climb the roof, kick the siren in;
jump and laugh for joy!
Quickly, dive back in the crowd,
run away now, don't get caught!

Welcome back 1968, "EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL IN IT'S OWN WAY" remember that song?
When we hold a bird to tightly we kill it.

On the MASH TV program COL. Potter let them have a bonfire to let off steam then everything was fine.

With the election, the economy, the gun battle, the rape, every thing seem in order.

It is the children of parents who should have never had children, who were raised by the nanny's ways, who did what they wanted or nanny got fired. These are the children of the people who put this country's financial market in the dumpster. I have seen it first hand while at the AMTRAK station early morning in the past. They come here without MOMMY or DADDY to control them, and their only thoughts are how DRUNK can I get, and who can I SLEEP with tonight. I really would like to see the stats on how many people drop out who are not from a local community. I really makes me sad to thing that those who come here from all over the country are here not to learn and become owners of business, but to become drunk, sex crazed, disability recipients who can't work because THEY can't get a job because the have a drinking problem, or can't get along with the boss. In turn WE have to pay their way till they die from liver cancer, or excessive drug use. There are many videos that will be posted on You-tube and the like which will show some of the clowns in their best behavior (because dunces is all they know how to be) which can be used to remove them from OUR TOWN and send them back to MOMMY and DADDY so we aren't the one who have to babysit them till there 25 yrs old. No wonder there are problem in this country at present day, I wonder if these cluster of clowns are Democrates and will vote for OBAMA because "that's who MOMMY and DADDY are voting for! Maybe they can grow up to be tree huggers(activist) who stop progress because SOME DUDE said it was the thing to do, the night they smoke and drank with him. The police should have blocked all the streets and started taking them in buses to the jail and if intoxicated, charged them as such, then this would allow them have had the ability to see who they have become. How many of them were under 18?

I agree with this wholeheartedly! They don't respect anything because they have never had to work, sacrifice, or pay for anything. They'll get their education (?) and leave their mess behind. What the hell do they care, this isn't their town.
WE don't have anything to be embarrassed about, John! It's these arrogant worthless little shits and their own towns that should be ashamed!
F them and the horses they rode in on. And their parents.
I'm a MOM of two mid-20's sons. Raised here. Butte College for both. One is in San Diego (after the Air Force), getting himself through college at UCSD as an Engineer. I couldn't afford his college, so he is doing it himself.
They're not perfect, had their share of testosterone and beer and Chico and have both seen the inside of the Butte County Jail. Once. We all learn from out Mistakes. What do you want, Son?
An Orange Jumpsuit and baloney sandwiches?
Having to sell that beloved Toyota 4x4 to pay your DUI fines and having it follow you for many years really makes the young guys change their tune.
These Chico State (NOT Chico locals) BRATS need to wear orange jumpsuits and pay up, without mommy and daddy bailing their sorry asses out of the jams they get into!
Okay, I'm done. Wait, one more thing.
These dimwhits think this is all new. To them, maybe, but it is some VERY OLD CRAP to us.
