In Afghanistan, Taliban's fall precedes rise of AIDS

are we to believe the number of AIDS cases increased because the Taliban was removed from power?

OR ... are cases just now being reported because drug addicts and people with AIDS are no longer afraid of persecution under an Islamic-extremist regime?

There are plenty of innocent victims out there who need help more.

increased aids victems have not much to do with heroin addiction in afghanistan.its more related to homosexuality.and talibans prmots this act.

The main cause of AIDS in Afghanistan is not due to increased shooting of heroin with dirty needles,its actually the huge increase in adultry and other westren trash activities. Yet another good reason why Taliban should be running this country and not US and its puppet and it's northern aliens slaves.

Western trash activites? The Afghan culture and history predates many western countries. Drugs may have been brought\grown there from western countries, but as far as "Western trash activities" are concerned, they were there all along (that's what the Afghans and Pashtuns are famous for! Stop blaming others, and start doing something to stop this epidemic. Also, that doing something has to be beyond fingerpointing and wishful thinking.

Those who contract it know the who, what, when and where as does the scientific community. I do not hear the grand standers ever saying anything about behavior change. Why is that?
