Well Joe Biden ran for president in 1988. Was accused of plagiarism, had two brain aneurysms, and a poor academic record.
Well done, Barry! And all of you **** waited patiently to hear this?

Well, the announcement is made. Good choice. Joe Biden is strong and tough. He has serious foreign policy chops. This will be a powerful team.

Hillary would have been a great choice too, but the VP has to be who Obama most wants.

On to Denver! Then on to victory Novermber 4th!

John McCain has notified his supporters he will be announcing HIS VP choice at any time.

He will make his announcement by way of a telegraph message.

After all, that was state of the art when he was young...

Biden is 65, so this should shut up the "McCain-is-too-old" whine from the Democrats. This also should signal the end of the Obama campaign. It's over folks.

Obama has always been against the war and Joe Biden voted for it.

Didn't Obama say he was going to change the politics in Washington? Joe Biden has been in the Senate for at least 30 years.

Does Obama remember how many bombs were planted by his mentor Bill Ayers, the domestic terrorist?

Oh. I almost forgot. Biden didn't do that well in school either. That will also shut up the "McCain-finished-in-the-b ottom-of-his-class" whine from the Democrats. Obama should shut down his campaign and start to do the work that he was elected for. It's time for him to earn his paycheck, for a change (we can believe in!)

Joe Biden: ""I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man.""

Biden is only a few years younger than McCain. Why do you consider ageist comments acceptable?

Joe Biden was #6 on Obama's list to potential nominees. Four turned Barack down and one, by the name of John Edwards, "dropped out".

Well I am glad that is finally over. Now we can get thru the conventions, and then elect McCain. I am glad Obam didn't pick Hillary because I would have felt really bad voting against her, being I have always been a Democrat. I have said from the very beginning that I would never vote for Obam. I just hope Hillary's all of Hillary's supporters can now either not vote or vote against Obam also. Down with Obam.

*shrug* .. decent choice, provides good balance. A policy wonk who will absolutely eat alive Romney, a typical Repub who couldn't think his way out of a paper bag (Quayle redux), in one-on-one debate. But ultimately this role means little.

wow...I thought Obama wanted to start a new era of govenment because the old one was not working. in fact, isn't that one of the arguments he used against Hilary - that she was part of the establisment? well isn't Biden part of that old guard? and did he not also condemn Hilary for also voting for the war. Wow, guess what - biden did too. so much for change. same old, same old.

This is a slap in the face of Hillary Clinton! I will not be voting for Obama, that much is certain. My only decision is to either sit it out or vote McCain.

Disgusting!!!!
