Its nice that mike north is off the air. That guys is terrible.
Waddle and Silvy has improved greatly, in my opinion, not due to booking, but Mark Silverman has done some growing up and stopped being so negative each morning. I enjoy waddles commentary and sports IQ and Mark is great when he lays off the bit&ching on the bulls. No one wants to hear him pis*ing and moaning every morning. Its good that he has lightened up.
Mike and mIke are great when that are acutally on the air together. More and more one or the other is "off" which I think will in a year be the end of that great show.

Mully and Hanley are way too negative and serious for a morning talk show. Mike North was The Score. I'm done with the station now. At least North talked about issues that effected us here in the city. Mike and Mike are cardboard cutouts saying generic lines day after day.

Nice touch calling Murphy "blabbering". I'll listen Thursday for his Response Weepy. Thank you kindly.

Even though North's ratings justified his demise I suspect his departure has really shaken things up over there- the whole roster is shaky now. Personally I preferred Mully & Hanley where they were. 4 hours of them is too much. The 10 am - 12 noon slot is a disaster with this Laurence Holmes; even his voice gets on my nerves. "Blabby" (?) Murph is fine for 2 hours at noon, but Boers & Bernstein have turned most of their audience off. If it weren't for the Sox games I could see even more people turning- and tuning- away.

boers & bernstein is the only sports talk show that is tolerable.

The three things ESPN loves most are the Yankees, the Red Sox, and ESPN. And I have no idea what that "afternoon saloon" is talking about half the time --- usually it's last night's dinner or the bars in northwest Indiana.

Maybe Teddy has lost his right to report this story, since he is in bed with WMVP. Having guest-hosted the MJH Show, Teddy seemed to take the bait of the network.
Not to worry, though: soon, he'll be returning to the Big Ten football beat by being Jim Tressel's chauffeur.

Teddy you are a tool. Murph does a good job and WMVP programming is bland and generic just like your writing.

Did the check clear, Teddy? You should really make sure the Disney dough is in your account before you gush so much. Speaking of gushing, how can anyone around here listen to Mike Greenberg talk about the New York Jets? He makes Dick Vitale sound like Ted Koppel.

The Score’s lineup really has become the tired old w h o r e of Chicago sports radio. I think there are a lot of Score listeners like me who tune in out of habit more than anything else. They were the only local game in town for a while which developed a niche audience but as WMVP started to add more local based shows people started to give them a chance and it’s obvious by the numbers that the people have spoken. When they trot out the “Me & Z” show or Lawrence Holmes I immediately switch to my iPod or XM radio. What’s next, the Jen Jen the Engine show? They need to get rid of more than Mike North. Mulligan and Hanley are going to get their collective butts handed to them. Dan Jiggets would be a huge improvement over anybody in the Scores current lineup.

WMVP blows the Score away with their current line-up. The only time I listen to the Score is during the commercials on WMVP.
And as an added bonus, WMVP doesn't have ads for vasectomies. Seriously, WSCR, there's not many better ways to scare off guys 25-54 than to talk about pointy things in your nether regions.

the best thing is that Mike North is history. How that knucklehead last this long is amazing.

The "afternoon saloon" is lame- If I want to hear talking meatballs I'll watch the Superfans skits on SNL. ESPN Sux wrote: The three things ESPN loves most are the Yankees, the Red Sox, and ESPN. North lost again, at least we dont have to listen to his excuses how the system is flawed or he has no billboards.

Glad that North is gone and I do find some of the other Score personalities to be too much to tolerate.
However, Teddy, YOU ARE ON WMVP's PAYROLL!!

Mac, Jurko & Harry"have become very lame trio. They are more concerned about personal appearances, who's doing what over the weekend, stuffing their pieholes, etc. They rarely take calls from the fans anymore and tend to get wrapped up in topics that no one gives a rat's a__ about!. They belong on the street with Mike North pushing a hotdog cart. Even though one of the "stars of this program" leaves near me in Northwest Indiana, he needs to re-focus on SPORTS and less on himself and his two Bozo buddies.
