Body found in Calumet City

I pray that God blesses the family during this difficult time. It's so awful that there are people out there with the capability of killing others. My prayers are with the family.

This is sad, no matter who this woman is, my prayers go out to the family. There is evil in this world that none of us can get around, we have to turn to God to protect us from such evil. I send my heartfelt sympathy out to the family. I was once in a relationship where a man threatened my life because I found out he was married. He stalked me, threatened me, said he wouldn't allow me to get away from him that easy. I was terrifed, and after reading what this poor woman went through in the course of her final moments, I had major flashbacks of what I went through. I really feel for this family, and my prayers go out to Naila, and I know she is in heaven, she had a face of an angel, and I never met her. I say to all women in the world, to BE CAREFUL. I'm single, and I have been for 3 years. I'm scared because of what I went through with the last guy. Peace B Still! Kelly

This is awful, and God bless the Franklin family. I say to ALL women in the world, BE CAREFUL, do a criminal background check before dating anyone. All you need is a name and a birthday. Google him until you can't google him anymore. I was in a relationship where this man was married, and when I found out he was married, I immediately left him, and he threatened my life. I was terrified. Three years later I'm STILL single, and I'm afraid to date now, and when I do meet a guy, I immediately turn into inspector gadget. There is nothing wrong with being careful. I was talking to some co workers about this & we had a feeling she would be a victom of some coward who has no respect for life. Which is why when they catch this person they should face the same consequences, but there seems to be this practice called a " Mickey " going around which was news to me, guys are using eye drops to lace drinks at bars and clubs?? Let any female family or friend beware, watch the drink they leave on a table or a bar, share this info it was shocking to hear this, eyedrops being squirted into a drink, I guess this has the same effect as a date rape drug. Spread the word don't let this happen to someone you know.

This very question is why I/we should wait to hear the autopsy results. But never the less it is no less painful to hear of this type of death. I am really very tired of this and wish I had some solution to this part of human behavior.

You friggin' jagoffs, there's a reason why the police did not want that information released. But you found out what it was and printed it anyway, possibly damaging law enforcement's case against its prime suspect even though it added NOTHING to the story. Reckless, irresponsible jerks.

Im deeply sadened by the discovery of a body in the calumet city area. i hope this is not her, because she didnt deserve this, and she was just a bright woman at the prime of her life. i wanna let the family know that they r in my prayers.

I live in the area where the body was found. They were searching the area Wednesday evening around 4:00 p.m. I don't understand why they are saying they found the body yesterday morning. It had to of been Wednesday evening because all the police and detectives where there then. I hope this case sees justice. Men need to get it into their heads that if its over its over. It doesn't give you the right to harm another person because you are not getting what you want. There is too much of this going on these days, and it is senseless. My prayers are with the victims family. I think the cops know who the **** is that did this and there is more info that will be released about him at another time.

All the facts are not even remotely in, it could be a man who did this to this yet identified person. But before you condemn all of us to heck let's see how things play out. We can all agree that this is just another senseless loss of life.

I have been following this case on FoxNews-- they have done hourly coverage of her disappearance for over a week. I usually don't pay attention to the missing person stuff, but there was something about Ms. Franklin's smile that shook me. She was/is an incredibly beautiful woman. She apparently was young, smart and successful. That she went to the police because someone was harassing her, is something every 20 something woman has a gut reaction to. Her family seems like a close and strong group of people. This was a special woman. My prayers are with her family. She was obviously very loved in her lifetime.

This will be a cliffhanger until the final outcome. The developments are still coming pretty rapidly. Early on the police indicated that they have contacted the individual who sent the threats. The police know more than what they're telling. I'm sure of it.
