Ok, this all sounds great. So when do "We the people" get to see undeniable proof of the "facts"?- It MUST happen before 15 December......why are we waiting?- If I am asked to show a document for example a Driving Licence - I simply show it. I dont spend over $800,000 dollars trying to defend myself and then post a partial digital copy online for the police and hope they will just accept it. But then again politicians have different rules dont they?

We have to show proof to get a passport, credit, loans etc why shouldnt Obama ?? Why are they spending all this money to have these suits -and there are several of them -thrown out ? Why is the mainstream media not covering this story ????? All we are asking is for Obama to produce the actual birth certificate- not some copy of live birth or some other digital document. If Obama wants us to believe in him then it is up to HIM to show us that he is worthy of our support. 56 million people DID NOT vote for him. What does the Democratic party know about this ? All these doubts could be erased by one simple step - but Obama refuses to take it.

Comrades:
I sign up my kid for basketball at the park district and the clerk demands a birth certificate to show his age. Obama thinks he can become President of our country without producing a birth certificate--one that at least doesn't have the state registration number redacted. This is 1933 and you crazy people are goose stepping to a charismatic leader who either (1) is ineligible to be president because he wasn't born here or (2) is so aloof, doesn't believe he has to release an unredacted copy of his birth certificate. The next time you need to turn over a copy of your birth certificate, say to a bank or your state's DMV, just for fun, try showing a copy with the registration number blacked out to see if they'll accept it. Why should we accept Obama's redacted birth certificate?

Please quote the Hawaii DOH press release correctly.
" Personally seen and verified that Obama's original birth
certificate is on record and in accordance with state and
in accordance with policy and procedures." If it it there
can this journalist give me one good reason why Obama
would not enter a copy of the vault certificate into a court of
law?

How low will this paper sink? Paid to write an article? Where are the authors' personal ethics. This paper has sunk to a new low. I can't wait for the article on the University of Phoenix and for the expose on low prices at Hawkinson Ford.

This is all just so silly. Just produce the darn originaly vault copy and shut down the rumors.

I did not vote for BHO and still think this is all baloney but isn't it just easier to actually produce the original and make these guys go away once and for all?

He "rushed" to Hawaii to see his grandmother he could have easily had this tcb'd while he was there.

Not everyone who voted for another candidate is "right wing" whatever that means.

I can tell you this anyone who votes straight ticket is an idiot. If you don't believe just take a look around Illinois and the destruction Daley, Stroger (Jones, Deavers, Madigans ... etc) and the all the machine politicians have done to our state to become rich.

If you were actually from here. or had half a brain, you would know these things

You would think that with all the money and resources in the Obama campaign they could have put this matter to rest a long time ago by making the document public. Why should the voters have to live with doubts about the candidate who was supposedly legally elected to the highest office in the land?

It seems the tribune article answered all the issues that they contend.I believe the right-wingers playbook says that you should just go around in circles with the same argument and question why this won't go away and then keep it from going away and then question why it doesn't go away.

I don't think there is much to this because I think it would have been researched by many people in the GOP. But I do find it odd that he will not just say "here it is" and show it to get these people off his back.

If he didn't have the proof at the BEGINNING of this election, he damn sure wouldn't have made to become President-elect.

I am so sick of these racists who have worked themselves into hysteria over this self-created issue.

Read the rest of the newspaper, people. There are big problems to solve, and we need to stand behind our new president, NOW. We need intelligent governing, NOW. No more paranoid distractions.

The Tribune article points out several fatal flaws in the accusation. Let's move on.

This is part of why Obama is referred to as the greatest con man of our time.
The only people who refer to him as that (non that I know of) are people who are afraid they might have to pay their taxes. I'm sure his parents were like oh he is going to be president some day better get a fake birth certificate made. Look who 59 million people voted for...the lady who could see Russia from her back yard and never picked up a newspaper in her life. Suck it up you lost.

This is so silly. My birth certificate is an official copy. My parents lost the original. No one seems to question my birth roots in the U.S.

C'mon folks. He's an American. Lets move on here. There are much more important things to do.

The simple solution is to cough up the document and stop pretending that the rules do not apply to you. I know where my original birth certificate is, does he ?

End of situation, end of questions, end of controversy.

That would be too simple-right ?

Unless Obama can't stop pretending.

Would any one of you even be able to tell if the document were authentic if you held it in your hands? I mean, come on, 99% of us would be easily fooled by a good forgery. If the officials of the department that issued said document verify that it is authentic, what more could you possibly want? Your analogies are asinine. When you have to show your documents, you show them to the appropriate official, not to the entire populace. Obama's document was verified by the appropriate official. End of story. Now go play somewhere else.
