Metcalf was playing against the redskins when gross got hurt. Keep Reed. Cut Dusty and keep toejob.Steltz ain't ready
Cut Bradley, Booker
We need new hungry Bears not guys going thru the motions How did Harris make the All-Star game Last Year?
They gave up 190 yards rushing against the Giants last year and Archuletta wasn' t in the game

If I were GM: Bradley, Booker, McKie, Metcalf all gonzo! How's that for a different looking offense? Hass and Rideau, and Polite stay.

I'd like to see Joey LaRocque make the team to play special teams. He's quite an athlete.

It doesn't matter if the NFL gave us all of our players...this is the worst Bear team in recent memory and Angelo, Lovie, Turner and Babich all need to go....what a wasted season.

I think Bears removing Garrett Wolfe would be a big mistake. He has contributed much, even on special teams, had a big solo tackle Thursday on kick off return. Hasn't had enough playing time as a RB to get into a solid rhythm. He is slick and quick, Forte like. His fumble can happen to the best. Dan Bazuin, even with sore knee is a great utility play. He flattens shooters on kick offs providing support for balll carriers, a good set of cross-hairs on his sights. He only played parts of forth quarter against SF as a DE. It appeared to me that most starters played the first three quarters vs SF. Bazuin forced QB to rush pass for mid-field incompletion, was held on a near tackle (SF got a penalty for it too), and he had a nice sack in 4th quarter-- He doesn't let up, reminds me of a certain franchise LB on the team who is on full-time when playing. A mistake to even think about cutting Wolfe and Bazuin. I think Bears removing Garrett Wolfe would be a big mistake. Video tape on these two players will serve as evidence when the Bears review performances. Whoever thinks of removing these two players would be making a mistake, Wolfe and Bazuin look good. Both need steady opportunity.

While this all makes sense the bears offense will still rank 33rd in the league.(Patriots second team will come in 32nd)
As for the Defense ...they will be awsome until game 9 after paying 479 minutes on defense they will wear down and the injury bug will him them hard again!

Every QB for the Bears not named Rex has thrown an interception tonight. The only Bear QB to pass for a TD is named Rex.
Any doubts about keeping Rideau or Booker should have been answered tonight also...Brandon has EARNED a spot on the team.

I say keep Haney as the 3rd QB because he will not last on the practice squad IMO, as at least ONE NFL team will take him as a 3rd QB IMO. Gotta cut Baziun. Another bad pick by Angelo. Gotta cut Wolfe IMO, because AP plays special teams and Forte is supposed to be a 3 down back, thus not the need for a 3rd down back IMO. Hester could be the 3rd down back anyway IMO also. Bye-bye to Booker as his playing days are over and he isn't one of the best 5-6 WR's IMO. Where are all the drafted WR's from Angelo's era? More bad drafting by Angelo IMO. Can't keep OLT Williams on 53 man roster, won't get into this being a BAD pick by guess who again, but can't wait for this kid.(I just pray he actually PLAYS for the Bears next year because he is soft IMO.) Regardless of the 53 players selected, this group of players will be 6-10 or worse this year IMO and FINALLY, Angelo has to be FIRED if the Bears do go 6-10 or worse!

Dude, don't disagree with you one bit. My point of Angelo saying "i don't give a ****" was to your point. Did you not read the rest of the post or is short term memory an issue?

"Mike Hass will be better off going to an organization that finds a way to maximize his rare pass-catching ability."
Questionable QB??? CHECK!! Questionable skill at WR position??? CHECK!!
Only with the Bears does it make sense to cut the one guy they have with sure hands.
As for Hanie, the biggest mistake the Bears may have made was letting him play the bulk of last night...the kid looked good. If he is let go, I wouldn't be surprised seeing him lead a team against the Bears by the end of next season. Would be so very "Angelo".

Keep Hanie on the 53 men roster, with that O-line they're going to need him. Odds are they'll need another one hopefully Duante Culpepper would still be around.

David, dont know what football team you were watching but Hanie is NFL Caliber son. Put down the PDA and laptop and check out the HDTV for a change. I'm just saying man.. the list was good, but you cannot stop HANIA.
