Deficit nuetral means that the bill is paid for. It provides the funding thru increased revenues or savings in other areas as not to add to the natiuonal debt. The CBO says it even goes farther & reduces the deficit over the 10 year span.

This is by the CBO.

The CBO in the report that you posted said the those participating as an individual would likey see higher premiums in that individual market (if they had no health issues) but, and this is one big but, lower premiums would exist in the exchanges formed by the bill. i.e. LOWER premiums.

Actually, millions of small businesses who currently offer health insurance benefits (not the cheapazzes in John Boy post) will save money because they will be part of a larger pool. Yep, that aspect of our economy that provides the most jobs will save money.

Would one of you oh-so-intelligent Democrats please explain to me why, if this health care bill is so great, won't all of our wonderful Congressmen take part in it, since they are FORCING it on us? What's good for the goose is good for the gander, but in this case, it's evident that what's good enough for the gander is not good enough for the goose. I'm sure they're all saying, "Close enough for government work!!!"

The proverbial money tree or by the citizens of this Country?
Taxes, cuts in medicare , penalties, increased premiums!!!
Or are you saying it's free??
BTW MONEY BAGS ON TOP OF YOUIR 40% EXCISE TAX YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY , YOU WILL ALSO HAVE TO PAY A 5.4 % SURTAX ON INCOME!!
Now go find your money tree!
Let's see if I understand you. No taxes, no government, and heck no, no opposition to the Radical right wing branch of the Repuklican Party. Gee, let's see! Doesn't that sound like Anarchy? Next step is for Repuklican death squads. Hello Argentina.

What a dolt. No one is forcing anyone to take part in the piblic option. If you have coverage now, you can keep it.

Why is that so freakin hard for you to understand. Looking for an answer, the answer is this:

If you have coverage now from your employer, nothing has to change.

The Congress have the same plan as federal employees. They have options to pick from.

If you work & your employer could offer you options as many do.

If a Congressman opted to take part in the government option, then he could. But he might do better, as many would, with the plan offered by their employer.

What a non-answer ---------

When an employer decides it's cheaper to just pay the penalty instead of insurance there is only one place to go -- the gov option

That's exactly what they want to happen! then they got ya!

But you said the penalty was a 'death option' for small companies? Have you changed your mind? or just lost it? It's gonna happen, and you can't do squat about it. Kinda sounds like Karl and da' boys.

What's your source? Faux News and the other Conservative sources? Don't you ever go 'over the mountain' and read something else. You seem to not bea able to assimilate different sources to make a logical statement.
