What is this world coming to when your granddaughter cant walk to store without getting assaulted?By the clerk at local convience store.

The naes of convicted sex offenders should be made public. But "innocent until proven guilty" is the cornerstone of our legal system. Think about it: If one of your kids' friends made an allegation against you, would you want your name spewed out there with "Sex Offender" attached to it before you ever went to trial?

That should be true of all criminals though, not just sex offenders.

I was a victim and now so are my children. And there is nothing I can do. Except listen to them and assure them that it was not their fault and that the bad man is in jail and can not hurt them anymore. The bad thing is because when all the investigation was going on one of the kids was living in Texas they can't put the charges on him now that the child is in NM. I think that is crap and no matter what the charges should be put on him. It's not going to make a difference anyway he is still going away for LIFE. Or my family and the others can only hope.
