<quoted text>Manny Girdley murder was a cover up. He was about to "drop a dime" on some major players in the local cocaine trade, including some of the local "dirty" deputies in the department who were all working for some major prominent business leaders of the community. That's why he was killed "execution style", to send a message.
I know for a fact this is true. At the time the U.S. Marshalls, and the Pecos Valley Drug Task Force, were informed, of plans to kill Manny. Three days or so before he was killed, but it was swept under the carpet. Manny's death could have been avoided. But his death did send a clear message. I will NEVER forget.
