I feel badly for the victim in this accident, and pray for him and his family. Drunk driving is a continuing problem in today's society, and will continue as long as alcohol is legal. With that being said, How do we know the man was slobbering drunk? It may have been a case of maybe 3 or 4 beers and not paying attention. The aggravated charge charge is automatic if there is an accident involved. I know Arnie personally and know that he is a good person at heart. I'm sure he's praying for this family also and regrets what has happened...Not to save his own skin, but I truly believe he wants the victim to recover to help ease his own conscience (yes, he has one), and make peace with this man's family. BTW, I was only one of many that Arnie pulled out of the gutter here and gave the strength to make something of myself.
I am thankful for ur thoughts on our family but where do u get off with saying the things u do ? marcos id a kind man and poor man as well and now even poorer than we were tell ur arnie thanks for his prayers and keep praying cuz i hope that he rotts in prison 4 wat he did !!! sorry no smphany from me or my family !!!!!!

Hmmm...yup...odds are 3-2 Philipps facing big time service in Santa Fe at the state's big house.
A drunk running down a hapless bicycle rider...should be 10 years mandatory prison sentence just on principle.
Philipps' family should be real proud of this tool.
Thanks... so much for your support that's what we thought tooo ...but looks like only a year is all he will get !!! but hey , That IS New Mexico justice for you !!!
